I have played Titleist Prof., Tour Prestige and many other brands. For my money I will never buy another ball unless its a Precept Tour Premium. I see now that Titleist has been over charging us all these years for their balls. For instance Professionals cost about $38 a dozen (a good ball at a high price). The Precept Premiums I paid $31 a dozen and love them (more spin, better feel off putter, wedges etc.)

Give them a try, you too will switch.

Wow if your looking for a spin ball this is your ball. The first time I tried it I had a good drive and I had about 100 yards in. I hit a wedge and the ball spun back 5 feet. The ball has poor durability and average distance. But it evens out because it is the best feeling and highest spinning ball that I've ever tried.

I tryed this ball on the putting green before having a hit, and i must say this ball gives you the soft feel you want. I must say this ball has no duribility at all. I played a round with it and it ended up with cuts all over it. That's my only disappointment.

I love the Maxfli Revolutions. I think there about the best ball on the market.

this hands down is the best high performance ball right now out on the market! like many others i experiment with the other high end balls from other manufacturers, and none compare to this ball. i tried the newer edition which seems to have a slightly harder cover from previous edition. the only way i could tell it was newer was the print on the ball and number were smaller in size, and later asked the rep at the store and he confirmed this. this ball has everything you want in a ball. distance is long, great spin and feel, putts true, and seems to hold up better than previous editions due to harder cover, not as much sheering. played whole round with one ball and shot 74. the price blows away the competition at 34.00 a dozen. no high end ball can touch that price! give them a shot you'll love them.

Softer than the V1, cheaper in cost, better spin, equal distance. Better ball!

today i tried the precept tour premium for the first time. Being an avid strata pro and titleist hp tour player i didn't know what to expect, but the result was wonderful. This ball spun more than any other ball i have ever played, no joke. The putting feel was also the best. I didn't have the scuffing problem many people claim to have had with this ball except on one knifed wedge (which would damage any ball). The distance is normal, not longer or shorter than the strata (hp tour slightly longer). But the spin, control and feel make this ball my new best friend. I look forward to many more rounds with this ball. Also cheaper then maxfli revolutions and all titleist.

I reviewed this ball about a year ago and have continued to play it since (occasionally trying something new but always coming back to it). While it does scuff, I can usually make a ball last a round or near that. For the performance it gives me that is worth while. It is longer than I would expect and than I originally thought. While a few pure distance balls may be longer, I have seen no "spin/soft" ball that goes longer. It does not slice or hook to any greater degree than any other ball I have tried including supposed "straight" balls. Also, it stops on greens like nothing else I have tried and the putting feel is superb. This is a ball that clearly helps my score. It probably isn't for everyone but I think more higher handicappers might benefit than is common wisdom. I have loaned some to friends who are used to seeing their distance balls skitter off the green and realize they are saving strokes by not having to hit back on. It probably is not for everyone but I would urge players who are deterred because this is seen as a low handicap ball to try it at least once, some will benefit more than they think.

Great golf ball. Played it today and hit 15 of 18 greens in regulation. Excellent spin and control without the "explosions" of other solid core balls.

The new cover makes it great in the wind, and they have solved the durability problem. Played 18 holes with the same ball and could tee it up again. Make sure you get the new ones with the more durable cover.

If you're a low handicapper trying to find a ball to hold the hard summer greens, give this one a try.

In a previous review I was impressed by the spin but, not much else. I have changed my mind. This ball is long. I still have a problem with the durability though. One wedge and it looks like it was gone over with a cheese grater. If you can afford to replace balls every few holes or so then this is the best ball ever made. The softness of the cover is why it spins and checks so well. However, I;m on a budget so I guess I will have to stick with the MC Spin. When I get rich I'll go back to the MC TP
