I actually spun this ball off a green for the first time ever. Voracious spin, and the cover seems to hold up well. As far as distance, it seems to be right up there with the other top balls.great value, and performance I think.

I have always like precept, and their products. Whenever you open a sleeve of precepts you get this "no bs in this box" feeling, they dont advertise much which alows for lower prices, so the products sell themselvs with quality. I think the tour premium spins more than any ball i have ever played with, however i have recieved a signaificant distance loss since playing with this ball, compaired with Ladys. Its a great deal for $23 but i just loose to much distance with these, and i can spin a lady fine so im sticking with that.

This is my very favorite golf ball. Its low ball flight and furious spin puts a good golfing in ultimate control of his approaches.

I saw these balls were on sale at GolfWarehouse.com and jumped at the chance to get them or under $30 a dozen. (As a result, the value rating will be very high.) I am glad I did. I played nine holes a couple of days ago and was reminded why I like this ball so much. I hit two 7 irons that hit the green and stopped within five feet of where it hit. You just can't beat that. I don't see any distance loss compared to the Pro VI. This is, without a doubt, my favorite ball.

Plain and simple, best ball ever designed. The Tour Premium used to spin too much at times but this ball has just a little bit less spin. Has the same distance as the Pro V1 and the same durability. Better ball flight than the A10 and Pro V1 and more spin.

I have tried every ball on the market and the Precept Tour Premium LS is the best ball out there. Phenominal distance and spin. This is a great combination that any golfer would love to have.

I have been very avid Maxfli and Titleist player. I starting playing alot with the Pro V1 but started to notice that the spin rate that I prefer for my short irons and workability around the green was not sufficent. So I saw that Titleist may come out some cousin's to the Pro V1 but I needed a better ball now. I decided to try the new tour premium (not the MC). I put this side by side with the Pro V1 and the Precept was as long as the Pro V1 never longer but as long. The Precept however gave the spin that the Pro V1 does not. The Pro V1 is slightly more durable but I truly have no complaints about the Precept. Last in the equation is the minimum $10.00 less a dozen for Precept's and I can get them anytime I want, unlike the Pro V1. I will try the Pro V1 if they come out with the higher spinning version, but it will take alot for me justifying the cost difference.

I tried a sleeve of these but I didn't like them because the cover scuffs way to easy plus the balls are to expensive. If you want a better ball try the strata tour professional.

Bought a mixed dozen of #1's (Used balls that are in like-new condition) Precepts from a local driving range. I had never heard of the Precept Tour Premium and got them because they were in nice shape.

I pulled one of the PTP out for a friendly round with some co-workers and proceeded to back up a pitching wedge about 12 feet on the first green. I thought that was a fluke until I stuck a sand wedge from 30 yards (I normally don't get very much spin off my wedge from 50 yards in).

The ball feels very nice off the tee, is pretty long, and feels pretty soft off the irons. The only bad thing I have to say about them, besides the price, is their durability. I wasn't too upset with the condition of the ball after the round, because I only paid $16 for a dozen used balls, but I would have been madder than a wet hen if I would have paid the full price. From what I understand, they have a new cover on this ball and maybe I should try them again to see if they are any better.

Overall a very good ball. Probably one of the best "spin" balls out there. Distance is very good, feel is excellent, and spin is outstanding. Overall, I think the Strata line of balls are better, but this is a very good ball too. Better than the Titleist Pro V1's and cheaper!

Pros: Great feel. amazing stickyness to the green. has a superb trajectory and ball flight where the ball just comes straight down, not tailing off to the right/left like other more expensive balls.

cons: distance is only moderate. its about 5-10 yards shorter than other well struck balls. and might have a little too much spin. with wedge shots from 80 -100 yards it can back off of greens as if it thru itself in a reverse gear.

overall an awesome ball for players with handicappers in the teens to professionals.

have won 2 golf tournaments with these.
