Good ball, solid distance, solid spin
consistant feel. For a slightly above mid level spin ball it has very good distance, and softish putter feel.

The most important part of playing a ball is the feeling you get when you step up to play it. No, this is not a Titleist, but it does what it claims it will do, that must account for something.

Considering that this ball is discontinued, i would recommend trying the new extra spin for anyone who shoots in the high 80's or better.

Have been playing MC Spin for about 2 yrs. What sold me is the trajectory of the ball; always been a high ball hitter; MC keeps it lower than Titleist and Strata. Price is certainly right, but after buying new irons(Maxfli Revol.; a great iron, by the way) notice the fresh grooves do some damage to the ball, in the way of scuffing. But I like the ball, good bite on irons, good distance , but the trajectory is what keeps me buying them!

This ball goes long and straight off the driver, and spins great and has a feel that isnt too soft and isnt hard its perfect for me, im somewhat of a short hitter about 230 drives and 5 iron 165 so if i can sqeeze a few yards out without giving up too much spin and feel that is good for me. If you drive the ball less than 245 dont play proffesionals play a ball like this. This spins more and i think goes longer then the old precept ev extra spins. Overall for the price this is a very good ball.

Ok, I was playing the Smart-Core Spin Distance. It has great distance and some spin. The MC Spin has all the distance anyone needs. I go 280yds with it. 290 if I choose not to have any more kids. The difference is that this ball really spins and checks. It is kind of hard but, I like that. Especially off of the putter. My buds think I'm wierd but, then most of them play Pinnacles!? (I'm wierd?) Bottom line is I love this ball and the price of this ball.

The Precept MC Spin has been my ball of choice for a couple years now. Good distance, spin, and feel. Very good ball for less than $25 a dozen. Recently, bought a couple sleeves of the Strata Tour Professional. The Strata will be my ball of choice now. It's a little more expensive, but spins more than the Precept and the feel off the putter can't be beat.

This is a great ball. Pretty long, very soft, and spins well. Also, not too soft off of the putter or wedge. Nick Price played this ball (he now plays the MC Tour Premium), so you know it is a quality ball. Get some.

The first thing that you will notice about this ball is the price. For a little over $20 a dozen, it's one heck of a bargain. But don't let the price fool you...this ball doesn't give up any performance. I've tried other "spin" designated balls and while they hold true to their ability to stop on a dime, they definately lack the distance off the tee. Not with the Precept. I was very impressed with the distance and the feel off of every club. And when attacking the pin, this ball will stop about as good as anything out there. Putting with the MC Spin is predictable and best of all, this ball is more durable than most.

This is an overall good ball at a very reasonable price. It most closely resembles a Titleist Tour Distance but at about half the cost. The ball is pretty long, 3 or 4 yards short of the MC Distance with more spin on chip and bunker shots than it's brother. The only problem I have incurred is that when I hit a full sand wedge (I carry a Titleist Vokey) the cover shreds and part of it is stuck in the grooves of my wedge. I have had this problem when playing all Precept balls, but no other high-end balls such as Titleist or Maxfli. This happens about 75% of the time and forces me to retire the ball after that hole. So, this brings the value down a little. Overall, this ball is a good compromise between distance and spin at a good value as long as I don't incur many 90 yard sand wedges in my round.

I used to play Titelist Pros, but it was too soft. This ball is soft enough w/ good distance too. I've recently switched to Precept Lady. Softer w/ 10 yds more distance. Try it. You'll be amazed. A lot of men are swithing to this Lady Precept... Just don't tell anyone!!!
