I was one of you guys searching for valid reviews looking for credible sources and such before going out and spending 40 dollars just to see if this ball was any different than the pro-v. Ive been playing the pro-v for about two years know but i think after this one round i just had with the b330rx, things will change. Consistently 7-10 yards longer, a little but barely noticeable decrease in wedge spin, but the real thing that sets the two apart is DURABILITY. I have three wedges all spin milled and did played 18 with one ball and had one mark from my wedge where as if i finished a round with a prov which would be almost unheard of.. it would have at least three scuff marks, thats it ive said my peice, i just think bridgestone should pay me for the review i just wrote. |

This ball has the exact same cover as the B330 so it will scuff easy with a spin milled on with any fresh wedge for that matter . I do find it to be a little longer for the slower swing speed players but at the same time this ball if for speeds of up to 105 so not many people will be swinging faster then that with higher handicaps and those that say they do are the same people that say they drive the ball 315 yrds LOL |

Here's my take on the new B330RX. I recently found myself on the course by myself. I pulled out a new Titleist Pro V1 and a new B330RX. I was striking the ball well that day. On EVERY tee shot and second shot, the B330RX was 5 to 7 yards longer. I still like the Pro V1 but with my slower (age 56 w/driver swing speed of 91mph) I am able to compress the B330RX more fully. For you guys with faster swing speeds, conduct your own comparison and see which ball flies farther. BTW the B330RX stops on dime on the green and I have yet to scuff one with my Cleveland zip groove CG12 in 50*, 56* and 60*. Customer Service Not used Similar Products Used: All of them |

This is a very nice ball to use. It did not get as much spin as I would have liked for the price. The only problem is the cover. It is very thin. I don't swing very fast and on my first wedge shot I scuffed the cover. I have not done this since. I would recommend this ball for the slow swing speed players who want to get a soft feel of the putter face. I really liked this ball. Similar Products Used: bridgestone e5

This ball pretty much does what bridgestone claims. It is softer than the other b330 models, has a nice trajectory and holds greens well. I have been testing this along side my usual ball - srixon trispeed - and could barely tell the difference between the two other than the bridgestone ball will spin a bit more around the greens. I will probably play this ball in summer when the greens are firmer but switch to the trispeed during winter months as it is a fair bit cheaper! If it wasn't for the price i would rate the b330rx a 5. A mate of mine who plays a prov1 hit the two balls side by side and calimed he could not tell the difference. These balls do what Bridgestone claims. My swing speed is higher than the recommended range, but I've used these several times with outstanding results on short, tight courses. Playing down around the Pinehurst area on a course that only measured about 6,100 yds, I rarely teed off with anything longer than a 20* wood. Took a relaxed, smooth swing, and this ball was straight and explosively long, just as advertised. I was able to play a shorter club and keep it in the fairway more often, and still hit my approaches from inside 8 iron range all the way around the course. Shot an 81, which is right on target for my 8 hcp, at a course that was eating my playing partners alive. The RX chips and putts beautifully, and it holds its line well off the irons (I have a slow swing speed with my irons anyway, so this fits well.) Overall, an outstanding offering by Bridgestone, if a bit pricey. If these drop $6/dz, they'd be a heavyweight contender, IMO.

These balls are designed for us, the weekend golfer with a less than 100-mph swing speed. Unless you are a single-digit handicap, I seriously doubt that you will find a better ball.

I used to be a ProV man and my playing partner convinced me to give the Bridgestone balls a try, so I bought a sleeve of B330, B330-S, and B330-RX. Wow! I was amazed. The B330 wasn't for me, my swing speed is a little slow, but the others blew me away. With the B330-RX my drives went about 10 yards further than the ProV and they cut through the air much better for me. They seemed to have a more penetrating ball flight which came in very handy on a couple of windy rounds. In fact, on a very windy round I shot a personal best, when the rest of the field struggled. I have no doubt the ball helped me that day.

Not impressed. The B330s seemed comparable to my usual Prov1x, but although this was designed for slower swing speeds it didn't perfom as well. I am close to scratch and swing speed is around 105+ mph. If your close to the 100mph mark don't get this ball! Similar Products Used: B330s, ProV1x |

Not impressed with these balls. I just wasted my money on these. Sticking with my Pro V1. |
