A good general purpose cart or buggy bag.
Weight about 6 lbs
Only complaints are that the nylon doesn't wear well on top where staps on buggy attach. Staps on carts are hard to fit under the putter well. and the square bottom although help when standing on ground taking in and out of car boot allow bag to moove around too much on a golf cart

Model Reviewed: Ping Pioneer LC Bag

I was using a Ping Discover bag with my G-5's and had stated in the past that it was the best bag I ever owned. When I bought I-15's in November 2009 my wife ordered me the Pioneer for Christmas. The bag only had 1 ball pocket compared to 2 on the other bag. This bag had no external tee storage. This bag had a square bottom which made it more stable when standing it upright but it did not fit well on the carts at my club. If I rode alone the bag bottom tended to drift to the right side of the cart bag storage well and in under 20 rounds it had worn a hole through the side. I have since switched back to the Discover bag and have e-mailed Ping about this but have gotten no response.

I recently posted a review for the Ping Latitude stand bag and thought it was a great bag. Now winter is here in the UK I need something to carry more gear in, so i've gone out and bought a Ping Pioneer LC. Once again this is a great bag from Ping. I have a Powakaddy Freeway and had their bag, but they dont last long due to poor materials, the price reflects this. The Ping though is really well made with materials that appear to be far superior to the Powakaddy offering, it even has the key system in the base to fit the Powakaddy trolley. It has adequate/sensible storage and the top is very roomy so club organisation is excellent. I chose the White/Red/Black version which looks cool.
