staff 9" model 2002
Over the years I have owned many different makes of staff bag but nothing comes close to this one! VERY high quality construction; Six large pockets which will carry everything. Huge quality zips on every pocket which does not go "stiff" after a couple of years of use. AT LAST! - a clothing pocket which can be accessed from both sides of the bag (two zips) - no more emptying out to find something on the other side of a full pocket!!!!! Fur lined neck to protect those expensive and venerable graphite shafted woods. Bag is perfectly balanced when using carrying strap. Tall head cover allows for good manoeuvrability of clubs in and out, when battling to try and keep the rain out (you can keep a large staff towel in here and still get to your clubs) Criticisms: Umbrella holder does not accommodate the large "weather ready" brolly. Quite heavy without clubs in it - not really a criticism - a fact! Needs a second brolly location and a second "zip pull" on lowest ball pocket if being carried on a trolley (LH or RH use) Please note 2003-2004 model may have addressed umbrella and zip location problems? |
