Medicus 5 Iron
I have had this club since it came to market. I had stopped playing golf for a few years and just returned to the game. I picked this club and started practing with it. Everything came back to me rather quickly. In fact I used it while playing and hit a beautiful tee shot with, dead straight, just over shot the pin. I recommend this product to anyone who wants to work on their swing. |

I got the medicus 5 iron off of ebay and just to see if the thing really works. Well, guess what it does! It only took about 5 min. to figure out what was wrong with my swing. After that i was hitting balls with it. Well that's all i have to say about that.

Medicus 5 iron and Driver
The Medicus is one of the best training aids I have ever used. After buying both the driver and the 5-iron, I decided to start practicing. I used a few long length mirrors to train with the medicus. I practiced with the medicus for a week or so, usually about an hour a day. The mirrors really help you see the positions of the swing. Being a low handicapper with a swing that is already pretty consistent, I feel that the medicus really allowed me to tweak my swing, especially my position at the top. I would recommend training with the medicus as loose as possible to detect the slightest swing flaws. AFter training with the medicus for about a week, I had one of the best ball striking rounds of my golfing career. I also used the swingyde in addition to the medicus to help my position at the top. The medicus is a great tool, but in order to see real results, you need to put the time in and practice with it a lot in order to build a consistent, repeatable swing. In addition, I feel that this training tool is specifically geared towards a two plane swing, rather a one plane swing style. Customer Service EBay Similar Products Used: none |

This is the letter that I wrote to Medicus after I bought the product. I was skeptical at first as you will read.

Medicus 5 Iron Double Hinged
I am very impressed with the club. I have spent a lot of money on trainers / coaching classes (which was not all waste), however, nothing was as effective as this club. It immediatly tells you where the problem is. For example in my case the problem was a fast take away and too much of wrist movement. Once fixed, results were great. Price is steep but it is better than coming back from a round of golf frustrated and not knowing what to fix. I recommend it to all high handicapped players (like me) to keep their swing in check. It comes with a manual (which is brief but helpful) and a decent quality DVD. Customer Service Did not test. |

Excellent product. It's easy to swing it without breaking it, but try hitting balls. We all know practice swings are 'perfect', but putting a ball in front of you changes everything. It took at least 100 balls to get the 'swing'. Once I got it, I hit the 5 iron 15 yards longer than I ever hit my own 5 iron. And yes, after one trip to the range I picked up 15 yards on my 'real' 5 iron, too. Customer Service No need to use customer service. Bought at Golfsmith. |

I keep this club in my bag while I play! It helped me immediately correct a "handsy swing", and to slow my takeaway down, which had made me chop down on the ball. It showed me that my takeaway was flawed. once I got that corrected I began to hit the ball long and straight and scored better the rest of the round, It works! Customer Service I bought mine at a golf store. Similar Products Used: None |

I am a low-handicap golfer and purchased the medicus as means to help tweak a few aspects of my swing. I found that it did exactly what it advertises. I was coming in a little steep from the top and it "diagnosed" this in about three swings. Within 10 minutes, I was able to correct that swing flaw and get my shots back on line. My recommendation would be to keep it as loose as possible (or practicable) so it detects even slight areas of concern. Customer Service No experience with them Similar Products Used: None |
