John Feinstein gives a voice to the non-big names of the PGA Tour and the daily struggles they face on and off the golf course as these men try to keep doing what they love for a living. He also goes outside the ropes covering all the other angles from the tour meanings to what sponsors think This book is a good read for anyone who is and isn't into the sport of golf because it gives you the insight on how sports are covered and who is exactly making the decisions and why there are double standards sometimes. I give this book 5 stars I think everyone should read it |

I like to read about golf period. History, instruction, bio's, and this was a reasonable book at an okay price. Detailed, in depth and made you really understand what some of these pro's experience at Q-school. But at times seems like the author dwells on some of the golfers a little too long (ie Paul Goydos). I found myself losing interest at various parts but still thought it was worth reading. |
