This wedge has unbelievable feel around the greens and use for every shot inside 100 yards. I have tried to find something that compares with no luck. I have two just in case! Still one of the only companies to make thier own clubs-amazing attention to detail. Customer Service excellent |

Very impressive club if used carefully. No bounce on the sole means easy to slide uder the ball and cut through heavy fringe and drop over obstacles when you have little green to play with, allows full swing in these situations. However leading edge is sharp (no bounce)so tends to either lift well (good) or dig in (bad) on tight lies unless very careful - or swinging well. So makes for exciting play. Great when it works - sweet as a nut and big swing for high drop shots scares competitors. Price is a laugh (paid £130GBP new). Not a very good wedge. It's not better than or Vokey or Hogan in any category and much worse in some cases. Similar Products Used: Most of them (Vokey, Hogan, Mizuno, Purespin, Adams, etc. etc.) |

A shotmakers club. Not the best for long shots, but great for high flops and getting out of the rough. Need general around the green skills. Not for long shots. Great club, if your good enough to use it. Similar Products Used: Cleveland 588 |

Having tried this club, I can see why Mr. Mickelson has gone back to his old Ping wedge. This club has an extremely hard feel, which most golfers are not looking for especially in a wedge. It is a forged club and it plays like one where it's an absolute must to hit it right in the screws, which is undesirable for a club that is meant to be used for all those creative little touch shots that require imagination and a degree of forgiveness. Perhaps the only redeeming quality of the club is it's ability to impart spin to the ball, which is also one of it's faults as well. Again probably one of the reasons Phil took this out of the bag. This is an excellence Wedges. This is easy to get in the air and spin, may be that's why Phil Mickelson is the best in his short game. Similar Products Used: None |
