great feel, great spin, great distance control, classic and beautiful styling. I can lay down 3 out of 5 shots within 2 feet of the pin and the other 2 are within 5 feet at the range. The accuracy and distance control transfer right onto the course. the only drawback is that i wish the oil can finish lasted a little longer but it is supoosed to wear so i cant really complain.

I was excited to start playing the Vokey as I had heard great things about them, but for some reason it didn't work for me. I never seemed to hit it well. I could only hit it maybe 85-90 yards. I never liked the way it felt. I didn't like using it around the green either, other than bunker shots. I struggled with it for about 4 months before I decided to do something about it, and snap it in half.

Decided to replace my DCI 981 wedges with something a bit better. What a difference. The feel with these clubs allows me to dial in the correct distance. Around the green they are very consistant. Out of sand - perfect.

Customer Service

Excellent - very willing to answer any question I have.

Traded my Cleveland 588 SW for this one. Although the Cleveland is a good wedge, I think this Vokey is better. The 10* bounce is perfect from tighter lies in the fairway. It won't dig as much but won't bounce like a 14* either. The price is a little bit on the high side but if you are a beginner and want the best wedge available then the Vokey is your best best. The 10* bounce is good enough from the sand but where I play our sand traps are not as fluffy so it's just about right. A shallower angle will help the club from digging too much in the sand. I hit my 6-iron about 150 yds and if you're like me the most I can get out of from 80 yards in. I traded my Cleveland thinking I could get more yardage but they are about the same except I get more control with the Vokey. The only drawback was that I occassionally shank the ball when chipping around the green. I know it's just mechanics but I didnt shank with the Cleveland. Summmary: Great wedge, soft feel, good setup and can put a lot of spin on the ball.

Dont have to deal with them yet.

You think cleveland makes a good wedge, try a titleist vokey it will change your mind. I had a cleveland copper for 2 years. I got a new set of dci's and the custom fitter got me a vokey instead of a sand wedge. I'm still trying to find him and thank him. It is so much better, it is lighter, softer, and has a ton more feel. The cleveland is not a bad club just the vokey is so much better.

FIRST OFF MY SHORT USED TO BE MY BREAD AND BUTTER ALMOST TOUR-LIKE LOL ANYWAYS AFTER EXPERIMENTING FOR BOUT' A YR. WITH RIFLE'S SPINNER SHAFT, I CAME HOME TO DGS WEDGE SHAFT. BOY DID I MISS THE HEAVY FEEL AND CONSISTENCY OF DG. NEVER AGAIN!! THIS BLACK NICKEL VERSION REPLACED MY HIGH PERFORMANCE LOB AND MY RAW W/ SPINNER SW. AS FLIPMODE SAID IT'S SO VERSATILE WITH FLOPS, LOW SPINNERS AND EVERY SHOT IMAGINABLE!!! THE B.N. SUPPOSEDLY WON'T RUST EITHER. WANTED TO WAIT FOR NIKE TO RELEASE THEIR WEDGES IN LEFTY BUT AFTER READING REVIEWS HERE AND OTHER SITES, I JUMPED ON THE CHANCE TO STICK TO THE TITLEIST FAMILY.( SEE 690MB, 975J REVIEWS) MY FIRST ROUND, WITHOUT HITTING NAR A PRACTICE SHOT, WENT OFF WITH JUST ONE HICCUP.... GREENSIDE BUNKER IN TWO A LITTLE TIMID SWING THAT LEFT WITH 30 FT BIRIDIE INSTEAD OF KICK-IN, OH WELL OTHER THAN THAT HAD NUMEROUS TAP-INS ON A VERY WINDY DAY IN SUNNY SO. FLA. TEMP WAS IN THE LOW 90'S.

Model Reviewed: 252.08-chrome + 260.10-Raw Steel

The vokey wedges, in my opinion are a must have for golfers of all abilities. They combine a great look and feel with excellent performance. The 252.08 chrome wedge is perfect for virtually any pitch/chip. The clubface can be opened very easily for delicate shots and its weight also makes bunker play possible. However the biggest advantage the vokey has over other leading wedges is the amount of spin and check that can be imparted on the ball. If you are using a soft ball then beware, for a sweetly struck pitch, though landing on the green and spinning back 10 feet, will leave your nice new Pro V1 with a couple of teeth marks! The 260.10 raw steel wedge is a good club also. It does not have the high spin offered by the chrome wedge but compensates with a softer feel off the club face. Seriously, if its spin and check your after on those approach shots to the green then these wedges are a must.

What an incredibly gorgeous club. I use it from 75 yards and in. It feels great in my hands, it looks great, and it's got touch. You need a wedge, buy one of these, it's quality.

Model Reviewed: 258.08 & 254.10 (both Oil Can)

Before purchasing these Vokey wedges I played the Cleveland 588 Gunmetal 57.10 sand wedge and 51.06 gap wedge. They were both great wedges and they worked just fine alongside with my previous 46-degree PW. But with my current 49-degree PW the 51.06 became somewhat redundant and my 57 was getting pretty worn out so I had to get myself a new pair of wedges. I was first thinking about getting a 260.04 but eventually decided to go for the 258.08 instead. I'm glad I did. The 258.08 is just so incredibly versatile. It's a perfect club for a variety shots from the sand, fairway or rough. It's great for short pitches and while the sole seems to have a slightly grinded/rounded heel the blade can be easily opened for precise finesse lob shots. I think that the 8-degree bounce angle combined with the sole shape makes it a great all-around club. No matter what the lie is like, I never feel there’s too much or too little bounce. The 254.10, on the other hand, is the weapon of choice for me for approach shots from 115yds in. It's great for chips from around the green and for longer bunker shots. The Vokey wedges feel a little heavier than the Cleveland 588s I had, but this also makes them feel more stable. The 51.06 was actually a little too light and thus felt a bit unstable. For some people, the weighty feel of the Vokey wedges may take some time to get used to, but I think it’s all for the better as club seems to swing effortlessly, which really helps in shots that require a ¾ or ½ swing. I would recommend these Vokey wedges to golfers who take their game seriously and who spend time working on their short game. I’m not saying that these wedges are difficult to use or anything, but I think that in order fully benefit from what these wedges can offer, one should be comfortable hitting different kinds of shots around the green.
