this is the best wedge for my game. I'm 15 and wish this wedge was maybe a little cheaper which is my only complaint. This wedge is dynomit from 100 on in. I can hit it 120 when i go full blown but no reason to. At apperance it is the greatest, feels like butter and is extremely versatile. not for higher handicapers who shouldn't use it at all! I loved my carbite but this club has a little more magic in it.

60 Vokey degree wedge
Took some getting used to but after you familiarize yourself with the heavy head your hooked. Able to get easy up and down out of buired lies with this club. A perfect compliment to my 50 degree Cleveland.

Whoa! This is a revision. I was playing and I hit it out of the sand. It was a perfect shot, landed about 50 feet short and spun backwords 10 yards, which rolled off the green, down a hill and left me with a 105 yard shot. The club has too much rust to be qualified for the warranty, which sucks by the way, and the club has been dented several times from nothing!! The shaft is crooked and the there are stress marks showing on all parts. This club sucks! Avoid it like the plague!

Bought this club on eBay just to try it out. First time I hit it on a course I was in a fairway bunker about 120 yards out and I stuck the ball within 5 feet of the pin, with backspin!!! It earned its place in my bag after that shot. I dumped both my sand wedge and approach wedge and this takes the place of both. I can hit it just as far as my 52* approach wedge, and it works wonders out of the sand.

When you hit this club correctly, you almost dont feel it, thats how nice it is. I have read many reviews of how bad this club is if you mis-hit it. I dont agree. The club does let you know when it is mis-hit by feel, but it seems to go almost as good as a perfect hit. This is the easiest club in my bag to hit with.

I have always had problems hitting high-lofted clubs off of a tight-lie, like a low cut fairway or dead-pan. No longer, I can hit this club out of almost any lie and any surface and get good results. I have also not been one to put much backspin my my shots, but I often do now when I hit off of a good lie.

This club just surprised me to say the least. I knew it was supposed to hit well when hit properly, but was supposed to be very poor on mis-hits. That is just not the case with me and I know I mis-hit it often. Maybe it's just me? The only downside to this club is its high price, it is expensive, but worth every penny!

This is a revision upon my other review which you will find below. I played a few more rounds with this, and guess what? The club began to rust! At first I thought this was a good thing. But then I realized the extra spin was causing my ball to 'jump' in mid-air and when it landed on the green. The ball would literally change course becuase the club's face actually began corroding. I called my friend who have one, and he says his does this too. The grip, I found out is too thin and it wore down to the tape. The shaft rusted and finally, no joke, broke and when I called Titleist, they said it could not be processed because the rust had violated the warranty agreement. They would do nothing. The club dented when I hit two consecutive shots in the same spot. The bottom has now been worn away because it gets scraped in the sand. The bounce is too much, even out of the sand. You always skull this thing, and it is impossible to hit a flop shot. For chipping you might as well use a hoe, this thing blades every single chip. DONT BUY THIS CLUB. IM VERY SORRY I DID. DONT BE FOOLED BY EARLY PERFORMANCES

Model Reviewed: 256.14. 252.082 260.06

I have used various wedges (including approach and lob) with about ten sets of clubs that I have owned in my life. Currently, I used Callaway Hawkeye Tungsten Irons, which I like very much. In the market for a lob wedge I tried Callaway L, then the Vokey 260.06 in a local store. The Vokey was soft, predictable and steady off their practice hitting area. Significantly better than the Callaway L. On the course the Vokey opened up a new dimension for me. Hitting over traps to short greens that has water on the back of it, no longer bothers me. What was very difficult, became a much easier shot. Even fun. However, I do not like it from traps. From there I bought their sand (256.14) and approach (252.08) all in left-handed. I was using a Mizuno Comp EZ approach wedge. This Vokey (252.08) approach wedge blows it away. Hits higher, lands softer and more accurate. That is saying a lot when it beat out the fine Comp EZ approach wedge. The sand wedge 256.14 is great for soft Florida sand. The sand wedge is not the easiest to hit that I have ever used, but you are rewarded for your successes by winding up where you think you should. Its pattern is tighter out of sand. It pattern is less dispersed than any SW I have ever hit. But you need to hit it right. The sand 256.14 also has an excellent and accurate feel for chipping. My home course is surrounded with water on over 60 percent of the holes and one needs serious equipment that really works. These do. My handicap is really starting to drop.

Model Reviewed: Vokey 52/56/60* Wedges

I have tried a lot of wedges over the past 3 years, but I have not come across a better set of wedges than the Vokeys. Not being a long hitter my mid & short games are where I have to be better than my opponents, these wedges make me better. The 52* has replaced my pitching wedge from 105-90 yards out. This wedge not only seems to swing itself, it sticks to greens like velcro. The 56* is great out of the sand and short rough around the greens, as well as full swings from 90 to 70 yards out. For those 'tweener shots from say 50-70 yards the 60* is awsome. So much spin that the ball stops dead. These clubs allow you to hunt the pin under any conditions, from any lie. If at all possible BUY THESE CLUBS. ;)

I am a young player who usually prefers Callaway clubs but when it comes to wedges the Titleist Vokey series is excellent. I got a gap, sand and lob wedge for the holidays and I'm already and playing better from 100 yards in. The 52 and 56 are great for full shots. My bunker game as well as lob shots have gotten better using the 60. I can stop the ball on the pin from heavy rough and still stick it close from a bad lie in the sand. I have to tip my hat to Bob Vokey. Great job Bob.

Out of all the wedges I have tried (every Cleveland, Pure Spin, Carbite, Adams, Cobra, all of them) this one had the best feel and was able to make the variety of shots I require from a wedge. It can do short flop shots, high lob shots, and blasts out of the bunker. One thing, the face gets dirty easily, keep a brush around.

This club is honestly incredible, not only does it have a great chrome look to it but it also is very accurate. It's not the most forgiving wedge out there, but it's like a forged blade: the accuracy makes up for it. I've tried sevral wedges, Cleveland, Pure Spin, Carbite, Ray Cook, Wilson, Lynx; seriously do yourself a favor and buy this wedge.

Customer Service

um.. Ive actually had a lot of experience with Titleist, I replaced the shaft in my 975d with a ei70 and the hosel turned brown so I asked them if they could do anthing about it and they said they could refinish it for $56 (not what I was expecting) and I also contacted them about a Scotty Cameron if mine which was rusting they again could do nothing, however, they did tell me that the warranty did say it would rust which was true.
