Had played Cleveland FF900's before picking up this club. I like this better--softer feel with better feedback. Also, has higher center of gravity so allows for more workability and creative shot making. Distance is shorter than same lofted Ceveland (probably because they are softer). I have'nt tried the CG10's--my brother has them and likes them a lot, however, they are considerably more expensive than the Vokeys, and considering the Vokeys winning pedigree on the PGA tour you really can't go wrong.

i took a 56 on a round from my proshop hoping to be impressed enough to but them. unfortunately i didnt take to them and with them being a bit pricey i didnt buy. i found distance hard to judge especially after using a cleveland 588 and the club just didnt feel right in my hands. However, the spin was good and i got nice flight.

I got these off a friend (used) and wasn't sure if I'd like them at first. I was using a gap wedge and a Vokey 56 degree Spin Milled before thes and I'm really starting to enjoy these clubs. They have a classy beat up look that I like, no glare (does it matter in Washington state?), and feel great. They spin well. I love the 60 degree, though I'd prefer it have 8 degrees of bounce. I love both clubs and look foreword to having them in my bag for a long time.

I had two great Cleveland wedges (54* 588 Chrome, and 60* 900FF Chrome) that I used with great success. Then, one day in the hot, bright, Texas sun, the glare hit me so unexpectedly that I had spots in my eyes for the next several shots. So, now that I understood what all the hype for "gunmetal" and "rusty" wedges were about, I was off to go find some. I came accross two Vokey rusties at Golf Galaxy (54* Oil Can, 58* RAW) in fantastic condition for only $49 each. The first time I used them, it felt like they were already old friends. They are super soft and impart GREAT spin. They seem softer than the Clevelands I used. I'm not sure if that's b/c of the rusty nature, or if the steel Titliest uses is softer. Either way, they're staying in the bag for a while! ;-)

This is my favorite club in my bag. I am a self confessed wedge nut. I have tried them all with mixed results. I got this wedge from a local shop after trading in an adams tom watson 3 wedge set. I love the feel of this wedge. I don't hit it very far with a full swing (80yds) but it is very accurate. I don't get the backspin the tour pros get but it is still very reliable. Inside of 80yds, I know I am going to stick it. This club is also great out of the sand. Have had a couple rounds in the 80's since getting it and the reason was shorter putts due to better chipping and pitching. Will purchase the gap and lob ASAP.

Paul at Palm Gardens in Palm Bay Fl is awesome. He has a larger selection on new and used clubs. If you don't like the club you got he will exchange it for another until you find the right one.

I play both 50 and 60 degree versions of this club, as a gap wedge for my X14's and as a utility/lob wedge.... and what great clubs they are !!Responsible for saving my skin on several occasions and also responsible for some of the best shots I have played in my life. Superb feel and weight (slightly heavier than most) with the most delightful feeling off the face, classic shape and they just look right. The 50 degree wedge really grabs the ball (ProV1's) and lets you attack the pin like you mean it. The finish on the club just looks great as well and after a few months of playing gets a really nice tarnished coating and now they are rusting up a little bit (not as bad as some on the market) they feel just great. If I could, I'd play every shot with these two clubs (but that would make a round of golf quite interesting !!) If you want to find a secret to lower scores and a more enjoyable summer, look no further than these clubs.

Best wedges ever! The vokey line of wedges is by far the best out there, better than cleveland. I love the feel of the oil can finish especially now that it has rusted a bit. The spin is unbelievable. I am now going to upgrade my vokey 56 chrome to the oil can.

The colour and subsequent wearing/rusting may put some off but I personally love the look. These wedges sit beautifully, offering a crisp strike with great feel and control. The key to buying your wedges is to choose the degree of loft and bounce that best suits your game and the type of course you play regularly. My pitching wedge (Mizuno MP33) has a 48degree loft so I have 54 and 60 degree Vokey wedges which covers all my needs and takes me up to 14 clubs in the bag. The 54 with 10 degrees bounce is a very versatile club from the fairway, rough and bunker playing full, open face and knock down shots. My 60 degree lob wedge has 8 degrees bounce which makes it perfect out of the bunker and lush lies – not ideal for tight lies though. You can’t go wrong with Vokey wedges and lower handicappers will particularly enjoy them but as I said the key is to get the right ‘configuration’ if that’s the right word. Enjoy.

Best wedges on the market hands down! I carry a 50*, 54*, and 58*. These wedges put just the right amount of spin on the ball for me. I play the Pro V1x so i get just the right amount of spin, not too little, not too much, just PERFECT!. On my half shots the ball takes a couple bounces and stops. It just makes it so easy to practice your half shots cuz u know exactly what the ball is going to do. The rusty look also is very appealing. it gives the wedges an incredibly soft feel which again helps improve your short game. I highly recommend these wedges to anyone who enjoys the game. those of you who think you've got a good game, once u get these wedges ur game will go to another level believe me!

The exeption in wedges! Grovves hold out good, ive had mine 6 months and play 8-10 times a month and they hold there own. more spin than any other legal club ive seen, which leads to a lot more confidence. i have a 50 and a 56 and they really are the best. look at the bounce though, you wanna make sure you get the right bounce. The oil can finish is the best looking to me, no wedge looks better. period.
