Snake Eyes Black 60

None Buy this club only if you want or need maximum backspin. Personally you will need to hit about 100 balls off wet sand to get some of the black nitride blasted facing off so you won''t destroy your golfballs and suck the ball of the green all the time. I mean spinning it back 35ft off the green from 45 yards out is pretty rediculous. But it has great feel and distance control. Awesome for flop shots. One of the best out there. None Good wedges. I built them with Rifle Spinner shafts. Be sure to have them built with added weight. If they are the correct length, they will be a little light. I was using Cleveland 588RTGs and I am still torn between the 2. SEs feel better when hit well and seem to have good distance and spin. I just cannot get over the offset in the 56 degree. It makes the wedge look funny at address. If I had it to do over again I might purchase the 52 degree (no offset) and have it bent to 54. The 60 degree is a wonderful wedge. I have hit some great shots with it. Both wedges are great out of the sand, even better than my Clevelands. They get the ball out better than anything I have ever tried without any fat or skull shots. I have to give them a good recommendation. I love this wedge. I got mine with the dynamic gold s300 shaft and 2 degrees upright. I was a very inconsistent chipper and bunker player using a ping isi 52* and also an Odyssey lob wedge 60*. Now I seem to be getting up and down from everywhere. For some reason I can just look at where I want to land it and this club puts it there. So far I haven't totally mastered the full shot with it, I think I'm probably swinging it a bit too hard, but from 40-50 yds in or from the sand, I think it is top notch. Put together a 52 and a 60 with TT S300 shafts swingweighted at D-7. First they are stunningly beautiful. The Titanium Nitride finish makes them extremely durable. Slight changes in the opening of the face really changes the bounce and makes them very workable for chips and full shots. I love these things. The more I use Golfsmith products the more I am convined that they are hands down better than name brands. Customer Service Top rate Similar Products Used: Cleveland, Adams |

made the 56 degree last year and just loved it.around the greens it works like magic.all i do is use it for all shots now. it clips the ball nicely on thuse tight lies. might need to work on the fact it sets up sligthly open but once you accomodate for that the shots land right over the flag stick.this year decided to make the 52 degree. still finding the comfort zone with it.my first impressions are that i love the way i hit the ball nice and high being able to shot at the stick. great wedges and strongly recommend them and sqave the money when compared to more expensive wedges. good luck with the snakes Similar Products Used: None |

56 & 60 Snake Eyes Forged Wedges
I have used these wedges for quite a while and the have treated me pretty good. They hit the ball fairly far and carry a good amount of spin. I am able to drop and stop the ball with both the 56 and 60 degree. The look good and cost one half what the proline clubs do. Also, building them yourself allows you to fit them to your build. I think that custom fitting has dramatically enhanced my ball striking. The only complaint I have is the fact that the heads seem light compared to all the others. It may not be by much, but I can still notice a difference in weight. But, overall, they are a very high quality wedge for the money. These are the BEST wedges I have ever used. They are soft feeling, spin the ball and are very accurate. I use the 52* gap and 56* sand wedges on Rifle shafts with Chamois lite grips. They are swing weighted at D-4 Similar Products Used: Cleveland and Cobra wedges just don't compare. |
