Great wedge. I bought it because I have a custom fitted set of irons but my wedges were off the shelf. I got fitted for this wedge (52*) and wow!! I have a much tighter short pattern, more control and foregiveness on my chip and pitch shots and lots of stoping power. I play two balls NXT Tour and B330 depending on conditions and they work excellent with this club.

I highly recommend that you get fitted for wedges if your set is not standard.

I replaced a Cleveland 900 53*. I will be replacing my 56* Cleveland with the Ping shortly.

I have the 52 degree wedge and it is a very versatile club. I am able to hit a greater variety of shots compared to the Vokey I replaced. Excellent on longer bunker shots and bump and run shots. Price is comparable.

Someone once told me that "a wedge is a wedge". Not quite the truth. I recently bought the Ping Tour Series in a 52 and 58 degree. The additional bounce (52-13, 58-14) really helps the clubhead glide through rough and sand, but is still easy enough to hit off the deck. I've never owned a wedge that seems to hit the ball straight no matter where the ball comes into contact with the clubface. The spin off these wedges are amazing even though I generally play 2 piece distance balls. Out of the sand the 58 degree glides through the sand with ease. The feel with this club is precise, you can really feel the clubhead and are able to control the shot. The best part about these wedges is the look. Doesn't look like all the other wedges out there and Ping was able to include a cavity without making the club look bulky. I have under rated Ping wedges in the past but now I can give this series nothing but praise. 100 yards in = no problems.

After trying my golfing buddy's Ping wedges I purchased my own. I am playing the Z-Z65 shaft. This club allows you to play a variety of shots around the green from standard pitches and chips to flop type shots. I found full shots to be very solid and true with a distance of about 70 yards. It is also very easy and great out of the traps. It is the kind of club that you can build confidence in. I have had many other wedges and they generally are weak in at least one area. For example, they might be good with pitches, but be poor out of the sand. However, this wedge is good in all of them. Ping also makes a low bounce version. Which I understand has the sole ground down to allow the player to open the club face more and keep the club low to the ground. However the regular version seems to do the job well enough.

I have played all the popular wedges, Titleist, Clevelands, and Ping MB's. These are by far the nicest wedges I have owned. Spin is similar to Titleist, however the spin milled models probably do spin more. I am not really a fanatic about spin, and would have my ball land and stop rather than back up. I would highly recommend these.

Always excellent with Ping

Have been using the ping tour wedges 54 and 58 degree for 3 months now. So It is about time to give my feelings on them. The feel from them is great, spin very good and also a little bit of forgivness. The best thing about theese wedges is the sole, you can change the lie as required. These wedges are fantastic for short chips, pitches, bump and runs etc. For longer shots you just need to get used to the delivered yardage as it will be different from makes of other wedges.over all the best wedge I have bought so far.

I've always been a Cleveland wedge guy, but it's safe to say the Pings are just as good - if not better. The spin created with these clubs is unreal. On a full shot you can watch the ball stop on a dime or even come back 5 feet. They took awhile getting used to (Weight, length, etc.) but I am now hitting them very consistently. Crisp on the fairway, smoothe out of the rough and land the ball soft out of bunkers. Watch out Cleveland.

I bought a 52 and 56 degree model; I have hit them several times on the range and just played my first round with them. While my yardage is shorter than my previous wedges, I hot the Tour Wedges very high, and they are extremely easy to align and get on target. The spin they put on the ball is excellent from both full shots to greenside chips. My only complaint is they mark up a bit easily.

Customer Service

Excellent. I got a G2 sandwedge for Xmas that matched my irons set; Ping took that back no problem and exchanged it for the Tour Wedge.

Played my new 52 and 56 degree Tour wedges on the weekend at Moonah Links, loved the feel, alignment and bite these wedges provided, couldn't be happier with them. I will now purchase a 60 degree wedge to replace my Cleveland 588.
