Just a quick follow up...I have them dialed in now, and wouldn't even consider changing them. They took some getting used to, but now that I have the set up right, they are nail drivers. I might grab the 60* just for the hell of it...before the price goes back up.

I recently purchased two of these wedges at Golftown in Montreal. They were on clearance at $38 per club, CD, and I figured it was a hard price to beat, especially since i needed a gap wedge, and my sand wedge was close to retirement. Having used only Cleveland 588's, I was quite excited to try forgings. In the simulator the VIP's were very consistent, placing balls in a tight group, and having great feel. They are also very good looking clubs. I am having some difficulty adjusting to the leading edges, which are much straighter than the 588's. They feel like they have a more upward lie than the Clevelands. I get more pull from them than my old wedges, and it seems like I have to do a bit more forward press with them, but they have great feel and a lot of spin. I also agree with an earlier review that the 56* doubles well as a lob wedge. I had a 50*, but bent it to 51* to match my 46.5* PW. These wedges would be appealing to any number of golfers. They have smaller heads, so they require a bit more control, but they are also very versatile, and will reward good strikes. They have great spin around the green, if you know how to use them. I don't think they are as friendly as the 588's, although they do feel better. I will play out the rest of the season with them and decide then, but I suspect I will be back to Cleveland next season...just more comfortable with them.

Stunning wedges -v-foil technology really works - puts mass behind ball, can hit low or high and machined grooves will stop it either way - forgings are great and feel 1000% better than vokey (cast heads) - relatively square leading edge (though not as dead straight as hogan) promotes accuraccy, but nice grinding of sole allows you to "open it up" and play drop shots with 56 - making 60 deg wedge a bit redundant in fact the 56 is so workable in fact i played much of the summer with it as my only sand wedge even though i had delofted to 54 to "gap"it to match my pw's 49 deg loft - recently a +3 handicap player at my club used it for a couple of rounds and was amazed at the difference between these wedges and vokey

Got a great deal at ebay, $80 for the 52, 56, 60. These are softer than the vokeys or clevelands but not quite as soft as the hogans. A really nice straight forward wedge, that you can "dial in"
