Well, I had said in a previous review that Cleveland would be the last brand I try. Curiosity finally won me over and due to the club's great reviews, I just had to check it out. Very impressive. The weight, balance and feel are exceptional and the rust-aided spin is terrific (bought the club used with liberal rusting). Sets up very nice for chips and flops, an excellent performing wedge overall. I haven't given up on my Clevelands yet. I was just intrigued by the added spin claimed by Cobra for the Trusty Rusty. After experiencing the claims to be true and considering how comfortable I am at set-up, the race is on between the two brands to see which stays in my bag. It's a close battle right now and I am somewhat surprised to say..........advantage Cobra!

This is a great wedge. It looks, feels, and plays great. This is the best wedge I've ever played, and plan on getting another one to use. You can play it from many lies, and in many ways.

I played it since the beginning of this year season.I was happy with it for chipping around the green (many chip-ins). But I had problems on full shots(distance and control) and in the rough the club head bite too much, it goes deeper then wanted and I passed under the ball. Rusted or not,you will get backspin with it, but not that much for little shots around the greens.Believe it or not, I just bought a 9 year old Ping eye2+ Lob wedge and this is a far better weapon for all kind of shots under 65 yards.
There is a lot more grooves on it than my Cobra and less space between them.So it bites a lot. I compared them at my local golf course and can tell you; you will get more spin with the Ping with less effort.
By the way, ask yourself why Cobra no longer produce them. There is a lot more Ping wedges in Pro's bags (and they are not paid for playing those)than Cobra.
The club head is bigger and easier to hit whatever the lie.

If you are still convinced you should buy a Trusty Rusty, mine is for sale at 50$.

Customer Service

Ping is the reference. Highest quality product and highest service.I broke a shaft, they changed it no question asked at no charged. Don't compare them to Callaway, their guarantee is short. Ping has a lifetime guarantee and replace any defectuous product.
