This wedge looks great when you put it down next to the ball, but other than that it is the worst feeling wedge I have ever hit. The Titleist Vokey is hands down the best wedge out right now. The Cobra is much too firm of feel, you can't help but take a divot with them and they do not spin near as much as the Titleist Vokey. The Cleveland is even a better wedge, feel wise. Before you decide on throwing down $100 you should try them for yourselves and I'm sure you will see what I mean. Similar Products Used: Titleist Vokey, Cleveland |

An excellent improvement over the original rusty from the mid 80's. Scalloped sole elimates the dreaded scull shot that made me get rid of my original rusty. Not as good from bunkers, but I have not seen a better lob wedge from the fairway. High center of gravity keeps ball flight lower and more stable. Much better fairway clubs than cleveland or titliest. Similar Products Used: Wilson JP 60, cleveland 588, Ram TW 60 |

After an initial period of inconsistency with the new wedge I am now a trusty convert. Great for recovery shots over bunkers out of rough, and tricky shots around the green. Similar Products Used: None |

Hands down the best wedge out there. Looks and feels great at setup, which will give you the confidence to go for the flag. This club has dramatically improved my game. Don't mess around with any other wedges Similar Products Used: cleveland & mizuno |

From grip to toe, this club is a precision instrument for your short game. The Tri-bounce Sole makes the club extremely versatile and the cast head is as subtle as a forged with the durability of cast. The rusted face generates just enough spin to discourage unwanted roll. The narrow, scalloped sole is a wonderful clubhead design. With Trusty 57 I don't need separate sand and lob wedges. But the original shaft is too soft for my taste. Most premium forged wedges use TT's Dynamic S300. I changed the shaft in my Trusty Rusty to gain trajectory control. Now I have the best of both worlds. I'm only 14 years old and just starting to play golf seriously. I had my dad's old Hogan wedge but I had trouble hitting it off the fairway. I then bought a Cobra Trusty Rusty and was EXTREAMLY impressed. I feel very confident with it around the green, bunkers, and out of the fairway. This is a great feeling club and a great buy. This wedge really spins the ball well, due to the square grooves and not the rust. If you play a soft ball (I use Strata Professionals) then expect cuts after a round of play. Also, this wedge is really tough to play out of sand due to the reduced bounce. However the reduced bounce makes it perfect around the greens and fairways. Overall, if you play a soft ball, expect it to stop on a dime. Similar Products Used: Ping Zing 2, Taylor Made, Wilson Staff |

This club's greatest asset is its ability as an "up & down" club. Especially those tricky shots around the green where it gives a lot of "feel" about the shot, and thereby instilling a lot confidence - something I struggled with previously with my standard sand wedge. Also great for those wet bunker shots, where the sole of the club allows you to cut easily in the sand. I have lost count of the times that I have salvaged par & made birdies from impossible positions. The tri - bounce sole allows the club to be opened up to any degree of loft you would like, and you can execute shots from the tightiest of lies. I can tell you that this club has produced some great shots that I have filed in the memory banks. One example was a 25- 30 metre shot to the green that had carry a 40 foot gum tree 10 metres in front of me and a greenside bulker. I hit the shot as hard as could, and watched in amazement the ball was launched almost vertical, landing beside the pin, and the spin (I repeat THE SPIN) ripped the ball into the green, finishing about two feet away. I had to spend some time repairing the divot. Just a magic club! Similar Products Used: Cobra Norman Grind Sand Wedge. Bought Trusty specifically as a lob wedge. |
