been playing a 53 degree wedge with a rifle spinner shaft for a couple of years. i get great height and distance on a full shot and feel comfortable using for chipping around the greens in tall grass. i've tried other wedges but i keep going back to this one. i'm currently looking for a 50 degree to tweak to 48 for a pitching wedge.

awesome wedges i have been called the wedge king...being i have many. new, old, used and abused. these are the best i have ever owned and played. great for feel golfers. soft and very controlable. the skid sole on these things is just what a mid handicaper needs
play it and you will buy one that is what rodgers says...i do have the 50 56 60 for my game.

Model Reviewed: Cobra Phil Rodgers rusty wedge

The rusting is what I like the most. That paired with a nice small head for a good feel and touch around the greens. What I don't like are the bounce angles. The 60° lob wedge has way way too much bounce. I can't even flop it, it just bounces off the ground(hence bounce...) and I top it every time. But both the 60 and 56 are sensational out of the bunker in my opinion (since they have a lot of bounce after all). The Cobra wedges have their bounce angle options on backwards with low loft and low bounce wedges, and loft and high loft wedges overall. But they are playable, and I like its discount price now a days.

Model Reviewed: Cobra Phil Rodgers wedge 50*

I needed a gap wedge between my 45 and 50 degree clubs and decided on this wedge because I have been impressed with Cobra clubs. This is a very nice wedge and fast becoming one of my go-to clubs. It has a soft feel from the carbon steel and doesn't feel heavy to me like some other reviews said. Good spin and at $20 new on Ebay a steal! I think I will dump my current stainless steel sand wedge and buy the 56* wedge also.

I'm quite a golf junkie so i've tried alot of wedges but this is the best wedge i've ever hit very consistent club spins alot when it rusts i think its heavier than most wedges but that helps with distance control Try it out first though because of peoples different swing speeds Can find it really cheap brand new on ebay. I got mine for $30 brand new so it was a great deal.

Nice weight, a bit heavier than my current SW/PW, the Cobra site says D3 swingweight and I am hoping it will help my short game. Felt good at the range, can't wait to try it on the course. So far so good. Looking forward to trying it when it rusts too. Only paid £29.95 online so for that price it's a bargain.

I have been looking for something to replace my worn out wedges. After not having much luck with other brands, I decided to go with Cobra as I really like my SS irons. I liked these wedges the first time I hit a ball on the driving range, lots of feel, and the tri-ground sole gives lots of options for bounce for just about any shot. I couldn't be happier with these, and with the prices dropping, they are a great bargin.

I like the wedge the tri bounce sole. For a cast club the feel is good. Plus the raw finish is nice also. The club will put some spin on the ball.

I had used some original (EV) Snake Eyes wedges for years and loved the way the bounce was set so that you could vary it by opening and closing the faces. I wore the groves out on those and tried six or seven wedges by Cleveland, Titleist and Taylor Made all without much success. Then I found these Cobra Phil Rodgers wedges. They are the best of the bunch. Try them to believe them.
