I have read several reviews on the CG 10’s and people have commented they are terrible compared to the Vokey’s, (spin, poor control, and spin etc,,). I really feel these are people’s preferences over one manufacture to another and not really how the club performs. 2 seasons ago I purchased 56 and 60 Vokey wedges to replace my 588 RTG’s, after 4 rounds I went back to the 588 RTG’s as I could not get comfortable with the Vokey’s at all. They felt heavy, really muted feel and inconsistent on the yardage between the 56 and 60 degree.

This has great performance. The ball stops nicely with the spin, and can work the ball out of any lie. The 60 degree version makes bunker shots easy. The 56 degree has amazing control. But the finish wears off quickly. Buy the wedge without the finish. |

Great club. Excellent for just about any lie. Great grip. The finish, although it is wearing out on the sole, is beautiful. |

I recieved this club as a Christmas present in the year of 2004. When I finally got around to using it, I was very happy with the feel, accuracy, and overall playability of the club. But now it is the summer of 2006 and the club has significant signs of wear. The finish has completly come off of the sole of the club and has started to rust. Also the groves can hardly produce spin any more. A club of this caliber that costs $120 should last more than 1 1/2 years. Similar Products Used: Titleist 54* Spin Milled |

The 58* version of the CG10 Black Pearl line was the equipment surprise of my 2005 season. I bought this club together with a 52* Black Pearl. I only put the GW into play at first because at the time, I was still in love with my Cobra Trusty Rusty LW that had been in my bag for five years. Admittedly, I was luke-warm with the GW. Nice, solid, but no better for me than the club I was already playing. I was going to list both for resale on ebay when I decided to give the 58* a shot. Awesome. Immediately, I took to this club. Great weight, balance, feel. Very solid, great from the sand, nice soft feel, excellent distance control. The whole package. In one round, it supplanted my beloved Trusty Rusty and has remained very safe in the bag through 30 or so rounds through the end of the season. I can't whole-heartedly recommend the entire line to anyone being that the GW couldn't gain starting honors in my bag, but the 58* is something special, in my opinion. I'd give the GW four out of five stars, but the LW... 10. :-) Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Vokeys, Cleveland 588 & 900 (chrome, TSC, and gunmetal), Cobra Trusty Rusty |

Poor durability and high price spoils an otherwise great wedge. Wish I had bought it's 588 brother or a set of Vokeys. Customer Service Unknown. Similar Products Used: Titleist Vokeys, Cleveland 588's. |

First let me say that I think wedges, and all other golf clubs for that matter are really personal preference. What someone raves about someone else may find just doesn't work. That certainly was the case with me and these wedges. I have no complaints about being able to spin the ball, because they certainly do that, however for me they simply don't set up at address as cleanly as Titleist Vokey's do. Again, personal preference but I have a much better sense of clubhead presence with Vokey's than I do these wedges. Certainly they are more expensive than Vokey's, and in the 2 months I had them, they do seem to wear rather quickly, considering what you are paying for them. Customer Service Not used. This is a great 56 degreee wedge. The black pearl looks bad-ass too. This club gives you a ton of feedback and spin. Great club- a little expensive. Similar Products Used: King Cobra, Big Bertha |

I have found this to be the best wedge I have ever played. It has playability to match its great looks. It is great for greenside chips and pitches as well as bunker shots. It puts great spin on the ball and gives helpful feedback on whether you made good contact. A very satisfactory club. Customer Service Never used.
