I play the 60 degree wedge and it is fantastic. The club face grips the ball extremely well and allows you to work the ball nicely. I have a new found confidence when chipping or pitching over a hazard and can easily place the ball where I would like. Took me a round or two to get used to the smaller head size (used to playing an oversized PW) but once I got a feel for the club it has been perfect since then.

Excellent wedges, will do anything u want them to do. Buy them second hand if you can, much better price wise. Offer loads of scheck and spin, though have never had anything spin back but I don't use 3 peice, 10 quid for 3 balls. Perfectly weighted and balanced, just fantastic wedges.

Picked up a 56* version a couple of weeks ago for $35 at a used sporting goods store after playing a cheap generic wedge for years. I have instantly changed from a bump-and-runner to constant wedge user. I use this club basically everywhere 100 yards and in. Two days ago, it put my greenside chip one inch from the hole and put a thirty-yard chip to within 2 feet on the same nine. Last week I put it on an away-sloping green from 50 yards out from a steep downhill rough lie. My only problem has been normal 40-50 yard shots where I tend to stop the clubhead through impact, but that's probably my 30-handicap and not really the club :)

All of Cleveland Wedges are awesome. They are soft metals and you have complete control with them I would recommend these to any golfer, but they can be expensive for a set.

I've had these wedges for about 3 years, and they are fantastic. They spin nicely, but more importantly, they are incredibly consistent. Distances will vary with changes in backswing length, and not vary with similar swings. They also have great touch chipping around the greens. One reason I particularly care for these clubs is that I've tried the Cleveland 900 forged wedges as well. I play (and love) forged irons, but the slight variations in contact with the forged wedges produced differences in distance and trajectory. If you play all the time, you probably won't have those variations, but for a mid-80s hacker like me, the sense of consistency with the wedge play is helpful. Those variations may only be a few feet, but I personally can't putt worth a damn, so the predictability of the 588s is necessary. Of the three wedges I have, I most like the 56 and the 60 low bounce. I've tried playing the 53 and 60 together, but the bounce on each club is just too similar, which takes away some flexibility around the greens. Hope this helps. Spin 'em back.

My father just bought me this wedge for my birthday, and I can't think of anything that will help me more than the best wedge. I had heard of the Cleveland's as a big deal. And after using them I CAN'T ARGUE. These are the best wedges ive ever seen. They hold the green on long shots(dont spin off)and on short chips they check up and bounce twice before halting. I love it, cause it gives me great confidence that I can up and down almost everytime. PS: The Gunmetal color really helps with the glare and looks awsome.

jUST BOUGHT 3 MORE OF THESE WEDGES!! I traded my 53 for a 54* 588 gunmetal and also bought the 49* and 60* These wedges are good for distance control, and the 49 and 54 give huge spin on all shots the 60* spins alot around the green and on short pitches , but doesnt reel back on full shots, which is great I like the look of these wedges and I have lotds of confidence in them

Having never played a forged wedge before, I wasn't sure what to expect when I purchased the club. I am so glad I did though! Firstly, it is a fantastic looking club...this breeds confidence and the gunmetal finish especially (this is probably just personal). The extra weight (compared to my previous cavity back SW) translates to a shorter, more compact swing which means more control. Finally, and most impressively though...I can finally get the ball to dance! You will not regret buying a Cleveland wedge, the hype is well deserved. If you're looking to get one on the cheap I highly recommend eBay...they're going for a steal.
