I still prefer my Wilson FG-55 pitching wedges touch and feel over this product, but I cannot get FG-55 lob Wedges. So, I had to try different wedges. The new wilson's, callway, and titlelist all were fine wedges. Titlelist Vokey gave little more feel than Adams, but I barked at the price. Adams felt little tubbier, but difference were so slight that I decided to invest in few more lessons instead. N.B.: Always invest in lessons, rather than expensive clubs. The little heavy and cast head lessens the touch and feel a little, but the blade head compensates that. I get good control, as long as I hit the ball on the screws. Off hits are compensated well enough that I am confident with it. If one cannot hit near the center of the club with a shortest wedge, then well what can I say. This clubs does seems to hold up well enough with deep chromed head to my normal abuses. Spin is not phenominal, but decent techniques does produce good results. Again this is the blade thing. Excellent club for the price range. I am taking off the value rating because customer service is good, but not phenominal.

Customer Service

Not great, but for the purchase price it's what it is.

When I first got them they were a little hard to dial in but I have gotten used to them and I would never take them out of my bag..I use the 60* out of bunkers and it gets up and sets down just like it should, the sand wedge is my chiping club and pitching it is great club. The gap wedge is a great club to I use it for full shots, chips and pitches. I have full confidence when I get these clubs in my hand.

Model Reviewed: Adams Tom Watson 3 Wedge System

These are really good wedges for a great price. With the addition of these 3 wedges, I now acrry 5 wedges in my bag i.e PW, G(52), S(56), L(60) and a 65* - bit of an over kill but I like playing the game from 100 yards in and thats where I have the most control (conversely I don't carry 3 or 5 woods). These wedges are pretty solid and even I can be very agressive with them when it comes to attacking the pin. For this price you can't go wrong. I'd recommend them to high and mid handicappers.

This is the first time I have played with blade wedges. I tested the Callaway Forged and the Adams/Tom Watson Wedges. They both have great feel, good distance, high trajectory. Why would anyone pay for 1 wedge when they can get 3 at the same price?

The Adams 60* GT wedge is a fine addition to any golf set. It is easy to set up at address. Full shot club from 60 yards in, of course you will have to open up the face more as you get closer. The shaft is stiff enough to keep the ball on line, not a lot of whip. Great club for any level of play. Feel at impact is just as good as other high end price wedges. When the wedge is designed by one of the best short game player of all time, you can't go wrong with it.

i started with some cheap wilson wedges which got dinged up easy as my starter set. After trying my dad's cleveland i thought there was nothing better, but the adams proved me wrong. The tom watson wedges may have a smaller head, but man do they perform. I like the swingrite v-50 grip and it just looks sexy. I can get my smartcore pro distance balls to check up very well with this club. IT gives my balls teeth. also the weight feels very good and it goes 5-8 yards farther then my dad's clevelands. good accuracy as well. I don't know if the gt shaft really does anything, but all i can say that this is a Top notch wedge for cheaper then the clevelands and vokeys. goin to dish out the dough for the sand wedge for sure.

Model Reviewed: 60 degree lob wedge

This club will be good for an intermediate player looking to upgrade his starter set. The quality, weight and design of the club is very much like my Titleist Vokey sand wedge for a lot less money. For a beginner, the 7 degree bounce angle is a challenge as I hit fat a lot, but as I practice I'm amazed at how straight I can hit it and how often I can just look at a spot 30, 40 yards away and get it pretty close. This is not a forgiving cavity back club, so you have to be able to consistantly strike the ball close to it's sweet spot. But when you do, you'll be rewarded with quite a few exra yards more than you thought you'd get. The bimatrix shaft works well also to save wear and tear on my elbows. I like this club a lot, thinking I'll sell the Vokey for an Adams sand wedge

I'd prefer to have Cleveland's. However, these seem to do the trick. I have the sand, gap, and lob wedges and all seem to perform well. I have noticed that the sand shots seem to come out a little lower than my other wedges (Carbite Polar Balanced). However, it's more a matter of sticking with one set and playing with them. A solid set of wedges that are standard sized - which allows you to go and get balls in buried lies.

I needed a lob wedge and bought a used one because it felt good and the price was right. It performed so solidly, I went back to the store and bought a Gap and Sand Wedge! Great feel, hits longer than you think it will when caught right. Great product, great value. Put's amazing spin on the ball, if you play hard greens, this wedge will stop the ball...

I got this club a couple of weeks ago so I don''t have a lot of experience with it but I can say that I''ve done better with this L wedge than others I''ve owned. It sets up beautifully and, unlike most other clubs I''ve tried, the lie isn''t too upright. I''m not sure why they (Adams) felt it was necessary to put a Bi-matrix shaft on a wedge, but it doesn''t seem to hurt its performance. If you''re in the market for an L wedge, I''d definitely look into these since they seem to be a great bargain.
