In my quest for the "perfect" putter, and after seeing some rave reviews of this c-groove technology putter on the golf channel, I decided to give this putter a try for awhile.
I hate to say this, but I hated this putter, and traded it off for a Ping G5i Craz-E at Golf Galaxy. Needless to say, I made a good trade. The Yes putter is a big NO in my book! It just didn't work for me at all!! Trading it off was a far better move than throwing it in the lake at the golf course like I wanted to. At least I have a good putter now- a PING!!!

I love this putter. I've never been a very good putter, but I really improved when I switched to a belly putter over a year ago. Now, with the center shafted Yes! Carolyne model, I am on fire. I've played five rounds with it and so far so good. I rarely miss anything inside 6 feet and I'm automatic from 3 feet in. I'm getting them really close on the longer putts too. I've only had one three putt in my last five rounds. I'm a 12 handicap, but that is coming down with this putter. Two observations - the ball just seems to go exactly where it is aimed and hold the line, and the putter has a great feel.

Model Reviewed: YES! Golf Callie 35" Putter

I am working my arse off to be a scratch golfer and through 16 rounds this year my handicap is lower than ever thanks to my Callie putter. I've always bounced around from putter to putter. If you can name it, I've at least played a round with it. I always thought I needed a long sight-line to help me line up putts but that's not the case. My Callie is standard 35" in length and standard grip. The small sight-line on top is great. No need for a 3" long sight-line. These putters have great balance and the C-Groove technology is no fluke. It rolls the ball where you putt it and with less skid and bouncing on long putts. I've added 3 lead tape weights to mine pushing the overall head weight a tad over 400g, but the stock 355g head is great as well, I just prefer a tad bit heavier putter. I also use the DiMarco "claw" grip with this putter and its great. My only gripe is the ugly grip and ugly headcover from the factory, but I'm making putts like never before so I could really care less about appearances. RESULTS are all that matter and this jewel gives them to you over and over again. I guess if I would summarize my experience with this putter in one word, it would be CONFIDENCE. Get one and get your confidence back.

You name it and I've tried it, especially if it has a longer sight-line. I've also tried 4 Scotty's. The only putter I haven't tried that I want to try is the Odyssey Black Series but it can't be better than my Callie.

I have always been an average at best putter, despite consistently scoring in the high 70's and low 80's. Tried all the different putters (Ping, Mizuno Odyssey), different shaft lengths, different grips. The Yes callie absolutely changed everything in my putting game whereby putting is now the strength of my game. The ball rolls with authority, easy to align, perfect weight, exudes confidence. I aways said it is the Indian and not the arrows, but the difference is so remarkable that this arrow is never leaving my bag. And I have only had three putters in over 20 years of playing golf. You know you have something special when all your golfing buddies who know your game best comment on a significant improvement in your putting results makeing it more difficult for them to beat you.

I don't write reviews unless I feel a club is truly deserving. This putter looked like another techno marvel of the month but it's made a believer out of me. The ball rolls immediately with no skipping. The heavieness helps steady the back stroke and keeps the head on line. The feel and sound is supurb. Above all, it's uncanny how many balls go in the hole. You must try this technology for yourself. It will make a believer out of you.

I can only agree with the other reviews. I have more putters than I care to admit to my wife and have generally favored Scotty Camerons over the last years. The Yes Callie was however a real shock, in a positive way that is. I thought the whole groove thing was just another marketing gimmick but I have to admit that it puts a fantastic roll on the ball. Short to medium puts go exactly where you aim and long puts roll right away, thereby increasing distance control. I can have good days and less good days with the putter but with this one I never really tend to lose it too much. And, yes, I make more birdies with this one than any other putter I ever had. Cheaper and better (at least for me) than Scotty Camerons, nice classic look and good finish. What's not to like? Oh, right: the grip. But I changed that!

Had trouble finding any putter which suited my game, I thought I had found the perfect one. In the form of nike Oz chip. BUT... after having a putt with my pals, holing a 10 footer first of all I thought to give it a try, and he let me saying he has 3 differnt putters. I tried it, and in my first round, I shot 78, which is unbelievable for me, then, off 24. Now, in 7 months I am down to 13 thanks to this increadible putter which has knocked off a huge amount of shots. BUY ONE and try it for yourself, you havent felt a perfect putter intill you have felt the perfection of this baby!!!

Believe me, I have probably owned just about every putter out there, much to my bank accounts chagrin. I have used Scotty's for the most part, but also TM Rossa Corza, and Pings. I had gone away from this type of putter to more of a mallet style (Red X2 and TM Rossa Corza) and one day was fooling around in Edwin Watts and picked this up. Sort of hard to tell anything on the faux greens in these places, but I was either draining them from all over or leaving them within kick-in range. The one I have noticed playing with virtually all putters I have used before is on long putts the ball either skidded or actually came up off the ground, and this didn't appear to be the case here. Well for 150 dollars, I went to the PGA Superstore in Atlanta, figuring if I didn't like it, I could bring it back on their 30 day playability guarantee. I never brought it back...and never will. As someone else said, this is heavier than the Scotty Newports, which I like, and I have never used a putter that rolled the ball so quickly, even on long putts it is hard to get the ball to skid or jump. I used to have at least one, and sometimes two 3 putts per round. I haven't had any in the last 3 months. Even my misses are more consistent. The fact is I dumped all my other putters, because they were just taking up closet space. I honestly can't find anything wrong with this thing, well the grip is rather "noticeable" but I can live with it! This putter is half the cost of a Scotty, and I think it runs rings around it. Yep, I still look at other putters when I am in the store, but I haven't even entertained the idea of buying something else.
