Model Reviewed: Yes! Abbie Putter

I've never believed in hype and the different inserts available for putters and when I heard about YES's C-Groove technology I was skeptical.

When I started out, I went and bought a taylormade mallet putter. It served me well at first and trained me well in how to align my putts. Recently though, I felt that something was missing. I could never feel where my putts were going to end up and no matter what I did, I could never calibrate my swing to control my distance. I mean, sure I was hitting them straight most of the time, but I can never guage the distance where my putts would go, I was either too short or too long that I was 3-putting most of the time. It was pathetic!

Then I finally decided to go find a blade putter and was I glad to have picked Yes! Abbie. It took getting used too and was frustrating at the putting green at the beginning but when I found out how to use the sweet spot, I couldn't miss! First time I went out for a round of golf with it, I broke 90! when I'd be lucky to break 100 before! My golf buddies were shocked! 4 to even 5 footers were automatic, I had 1 putts most of the way and I only had one 3-putt for the round, which was not Abbie's fault. Anyway, It was amazing! The confidence I had was so intense that I knew I was going to sink the putt even before finding out how far I had to go. The theory on a small take away and using acceleration to propel the ball works great with this putter, where as I'd be out of the green when I do that with the mallet.

Weight and feel on the Yes! Abbie is, for my taste, that best out there. I think Abbie and I will be together for quite a while. Thanks YESGOLF!

I was looking at the new scotty cameron being an avid scotty follower. My last 3 putters have all been camerons. They are great putters, but I just happened to stumble upon the "abbie" from Yes golf. I had always been curious about the c grooves and whether or not it really worked. After putting in the store for 15 minutes, I was sold. It just felt good in the hands and looked good addressing the ball.

After putting 3-4 times over the past week with it, I have to admit that I get a better roll with it than I did with my cameron. My distance control was much better with the "abbie." It was a soft, but not too soft feeling coming off the face, just what I was looking for.

I would highly recommend to anyone looking for more consistancy with their putting speed, not to mention improving the hopping that I would typically get with my old putter.

Model Reviewed: Yes! Abbie Putter

I purchased the Yes! Abbie putter with a 34 inch shaft two weeks ago.

I used my father's Callie forged putter for a few months and it worked great for me. The manganese bronze head was a bit too soft for me and didn't provide me with all that much feedback.

The Abbie is great if you concentrate on your stroke and hit the ball consistently in the center area of the face. The putter performs as advertised when you hit it correctly, as all putters should. Straight without hardly a hop or a skip, which is very nice.

I nailed a 30 foot putt off of the fringe the first time I took it to the course. I think that says enough.

This is a Excellent putter, the ball rolles off the face smooth and true with no hop. This is a brand new model that isn't in the golf stores yet. I purchased mine off of ebay for a excellent price. This is a forged putter with the c groove face. Give it a shot it might just give you "scotty" the boot.
