Before i was using a Scotty Cameron TeI3 nweport model. Ok it was awesome, very soft and perfect. The only problem this putter had was is rusting tendency. A bit of water was able to make this putter rust after 30 minutes, and all the chemical products on greens were decoloring the head. I swtiched some weeks ago to the Pro platinium newport 2 model with the 3 red dots, similar to Tiger Woods. Let me tell you this putter is the putter of the putters. Perfect nickel finish and a crisp touch make putting easy. Makes look a 3 downhill footer putt very easy to make. Because it is relatively heavy, you just have to make a little tap in and the ball rolls perfectly. I was making about 32 putts per round with my santa fe. Now i lower this number to a near 24 putts per round. I honestly have to affirm that this is the club that makes me shoot regularly even rounds. Believe me, if you want to buy only one club this season, go for the Pro platinium putter, even of it relatively high price. Remember something, you drive for the show, but you putt for money....

Customer Service

Well seller is just awesome. Lost something, get it free, broke something, get it free too. However, rechrome clubs are a bit expensive.

I am a member of a high school golf team, I am 15 and started playing at the age of 6, I first saw this putter with many of my teammates and rivals and I asked one of them if I could try it and it hust worked out, the next day I went to the store and bought it, great feel and I have been making puts so much more ever since my last putter, I do agree that the price is a little steep but I guess you get what you pay for!

Customer Service

bought a newport for $200 at my country club. i am a 17 year old, and play in the lower 70s. the putter is absolutely stunning. the feel, the weight, and the looks. i took off the gun blue finish however, because of rust. if it was going to rust, why not make it rust evenly. the putter is bare metal, in a raw material form, and it has a nice little green tint to it. i am planning on getting it nickel plated soon, so i will let you know how the plating changes the feel and weight

Customer Service

its great. lost two headcovers in the past 18 months, and got new ones no questions asked, and within 3 days

I love this putter! I have tried all kinds of putters, and I mean all of them. This is by far the best putter I have ever tried. The only negative thing I have to say it that it is a little expensive, but I got mine used so it wasn't that much. Also you have to oil it or it'll rust, but Titelist gives you an oil cloth which makes it easy.

Customer Service

I wrote them a few e-mails and they were quickly replied to. Great CS.

My golf game has improved by about 4 to 5 strokes. I can now consistantly shot in the high 70's. Finally, I don't have to shop for another putter again, even though I have wasted enough $$$ on just about all the putters on the market.

The best place to get this putter is at netmarket website. You can get one for less than $200, brand new!!

Got this putter as a present from my wife. Wow, what a nice putter! Had been using a Ping Anser4 with good results, but still had good days and bad days with it. I've been using this putter for over 2 months now with 2-3 rounds per week. The SC putter gives superb feedback so I can concentrate on hitting the sweet spot better. Distance control is great to the point where three jack is only about once every two rounds and one putts are more frequent (which is especially important when trying to save those pars!) Golf buddies are saying that I seem to be putting well lately, but I'm not going to tell them why! I give this putter a hearty five star recommendation! By the way, be sure to oil it! Financially expensive up front but I'll probably keep it for a few years which will bring my overall cost down vs trying several other putters.

The exquisite feel and balance make this putter worth the high entery price.
When you pick up the club you have a marvelous sensation of being able to purely and sweetly stroke the ball toward the hole.

The poorest quality. I have never owned a product worse than this. After 3 month, it rusted. I complained about this problem. But, the Titleist customer service department said it was the customer's fault. The worst A/S. If you don't want to apply oil on it every day, this is not the putter for you.
I switched to Nevercompromise Delta 2 and I am so happy now.
If anyone is interested in buying my Scotty Cameron New Port 2 for $50, please e-mail me: kjeong@sbsmail.net. I don't want to have it repolished any more.
