I bought the studio one because it was the first of this group. I use a Scotty Coronado Two bought in 1999 and I like it better than the studio for some reason. I have a large Ping collection and being like Arnie I switch putters weekly. But, for my money in this day I think Mr. Cameron is right on top. |

This putter is excellent! It gives you a soft yet firm feel so you dont over hit the ball or leave it short. It also looks great! I love the color and the contrast between ball and putter. The only bad thing i can say is that when you putt you tend to get a little distracted by the looks of the putter because it looks so nice. I tried the odyssey white hot #1 and #6 and 2-ball. And this is much better than all of them. Similar Products Used: Odyssey white hot 2-ball, white hot #1, white hot #6 |

At first I couldn't bring myself to pay 217.00 for a putter. But I wouldn't think twice about spending $300.00 for a driver. That's how much marketing there is in golf. Left handed Scotty's are rare in any store but when I putted the studio 1 I was Wowed! I came back to that store three times and measured it against the Asners, the Oddessy's, the Rossa's. Nothing felt better or smoother. My rationale for buying it? You use a putter 36 times in a round, a driver 14 at most. The Studio 1 is clean and elegant in design. It's heavy and superbly balanced. And promotes tons of confidence. I never leave putts short anymore, which saves me, on average 3 or 4 strokes a round. An 86 sounds so much better than a 90! Everyone complains about rust but I am the type of player that dries off my woods before I put the head covers back on - Each hole. I'm a constant club cleaner always looking at my grooves so keeping the putter dry is now problem. Similar Products Used: Wilson FatShaft CI 3 with a copper face insert. Very good putter but not as heavy or as balanced as the Studio 1. plus the FatShaft is the same design as the Cameron Newports but i like the clean simp |

Longed to get one of these clubs and finally bought one via ebay. Took it out to the club's putting green last night and missed 90% of the put I usually hit with my Odyssey White Hot No 8. Not feeling too good this am...but I'll stick with it. Will update site...later...fingers crossed Customer Service Not needed yet. But I'd better get a bottle of baby oil ready. This putter is just awesome. The look, feel, sound, and balance are just right. It gives me soo much more confidence than any other putter ive tried(scotty cameron platinum is good also) Here is the big difference about these putters than any other one. Practice. These putters will WANT to make you practice because it just looks sweet, sounds nice, rolls beautiful, and feels like butter! And with practice you will become a better putter. Now when I feel like practicing I go staight for my putter instead of my wedge; I used to think practicing was boring and not fun. Not the case anymore. One sweet putter. Similar Products Used: Carbite polar balance putter (looks bad, feels like a driver, balance during the stroke bad(too light),results good.) I have a hard time wanting to pracitce with that. scotty pro platnium, taylor made |

studio 3.5
recently purchased the studio design 3.5. man, this thing is really sweet. i've been playing golf about 25 years now and most of those years i've used a zebra putter. i made a lot of putts with it but i missed a lot of 3 footers too. the scotty really inspires confidence. it has a beautiful setup. i love the look of the white ball against the black putter. this thing is so much better than my zebra it's not even funny. i'm not expecting miracles but i can realistically see 1 or 2 shots a round better using the scotty. if i would've known how good this thing was, i wouldn't have worried about the cost for a second. Customer Service very good. i purchased the 1.5 at first but later realized that i wanted the 3.5. they made the exchange with no problem. |

2003 Studio Design 1.5
I went to the pro shop to look for a new putter to replace a beat up one. I tried the Nike, Odyssey 2-Ball, the Futura, and others. I found the Studio Design to be the most consistent. It looks pleasing to the eye at setup, the 2003 SD's have the black pearl finish. I have found that the putter has a small sweet spot, but when you hit it, putts roll perfectly. Once I got used to the putter (10 putts or so) anything from 5 feet in seems like a joke. The only thing I dislike about the putter is having to wipe it off after each use with a silicone towel to keep it from rusting. But everything else is a plus; the headcover attracts a lot of attention. If you are a good player with no money concerns, Scotty Camerons are probably the way to go. |
