I bought this putter last december, it has the the most forgiving head that can be used on the green. its light weight, compact, and holds a classic style with a modern look. my father bought the Cleaven putter and he tells me he wants to use it over his putter. Dont get me wrong i like the Cleaven putter he has. But i just like this putter more. |

Wow, the reviews are all over the place on this one... some say it is too light, and many say it is a little heavy, at least more than the SC Newports... I agree with the latter... my Daytona 1 is on the heavy side... maybe they changed the weight over the years...

I picked this up at Dick's Sporting goods for $40.00. Don't let the price fool you, this is a very nice putter. I love insert putter's, this is comparable to Odyssey white hot #1. The thing I like most is you are not penalized very much for a mis hit. If you do not strike it solid the ball still holds it line very well. Distance control is also very good when mis hit. I like the sightline on the bottom of the blade as opposed to on top. It is easy to look at and line up. overall a very nice putter without a crazy pricetag. So here we go, got this putter about a year ago, kind of a rushed decision. Looks good but thats about it. I play often enough and shoot low eighties or high seventies, so i guess you could trust what i am about to say. For starters, i cant deny the putter looks well, clean red insert and cool dullish finish. To begin with, the putter is a little too light, lighter than the average conventionsl blade putters, so right away you have to get accustomed with the weight and feel. I wont say its hard to judge distances because i believe that is the golfer and not the putter.

Freshmen on my high school golf team. Had a good season my putting kept hurting me so I decided to invest in a putter, I read the reviews on this and liked how it felt. I used to have 3 3putts on 9 holes since I bought this putter (one with agsi+) i have about 2 3 putts on 18 holes. BEST PUTTER I'VE EVER PICKED UP!!!! WILL IMPROVE ANY GAME!!! |
