Awesome Club. Bought from a gentleman that hurt his back and had to give up the game. Only Paid $100 for it, and it is worth 3X that much. It is the reason I broke 90, and have rarely had to look back. Buy this if you can. Check Instant Replay Golf. Have seen them there used at an economical price.

Model Reviewed: F75 Railgun

The railgun that I ordered was 33"(I am 5'08" short) and had a head weight of 310grams. According to the website this weight is slightly heavier than the normal putter. What interested me in this putter was the O* face loft and the people that I have talked to regarding this putter told me that the roll of the face of the putter was like no other--consistent, soft feel with pinpoint accuracy. I was also told that the ball would come off the face end over end, with no skidding or back spin which is what I had been getting with all the other putters I tried. I had a Odyssey Rossie, Zebra, and a Ping Anser 2 in the past. I decided that the putter was worth the $191.00 that I paid on the internet. I got the putter about one week ago and I absolutely love it. The Railgun does do everything that it says it will do. It provides a soft but solid feel when putting. It is so accurate that it is scary. Of course you still need to put a good swing on the putt, but the balancing and weighting of the putter is such that it makes it very hard to put a bad swing on this club. Some of the reviews on websites said that people had problems getting the distance down with this putter and I have not experienced that at all. The construction is solid and like I mentioned above, the weight of the club is perfect. The putter really takes the club through the ball to produce a perfect roll. I use to have tendency to get some side spin on the ball and that problem had been fixed with the help of the Railgun. Overall, I would recommend this putter to anyone and as a matter of fact, I am going to call and order another one since they are so hard to come by. Also, I did have to call the company to check up on my order and I actually talked to the maker, Alex on several occasions. Alex was very nice and polite and should be proud of his high class putter. Finally, he did knock off $40 off the final price, I think the internet misquoted the price. If you are considering this product, give it a shot, I think you will like what you get. And do be fooled by people talking about how big the head on the putter is...I really didn't find it to be that big. I actually thought that it would have been bigger by the way other websites were talking about it.

Customer Service

I liked the fact that I could call and talk to Alex on the phone about my order. The thing I did not like is that it took 5-6 weeks to get to me. The product quality outweighs the long wait for the product.

There is nothing similar, it is in a class of its own. The only thing close, for me, was the Odyssey Rossie.

Model Reviewed: Railgun Putter

This putter is about as mechanically sound as they come with respect to facilitating a pendulum movement in your stroke. It takes some getting used to given the face is forward of the shaft. The ball must be placed forward in the stance. The aluminum material the putter face is made from is soft, so use the headcover! Aiming is very easy with this putter. Because the shaft if mounted at the center of gravity, this putter becomes a good tool to use just off the putting surface. This is a risky shot as we all know (blading). I was surprised with its ability to push the ball out of taller grass without the face opening. I was able to get very close to the hole in such situations and holed one the first time out with the Railgun. High degree of confindence with short puts! Bottom-line, mechanically pure and simple...

There is no denying that this is a good putter. It feels good and putts well. I have used this product for under a year now and it has helped my putting a little. Think one should concentrate on the "Putting" rather than the "Putter" these days. However, I would recommend that you DO NOT BUY this putter as there are problems with the aluminium used for the face and Railgun are unwilling to do anything about it. This MAY or MAY NOT affect playability but looks terrible and cheapens the product greatly.

Customer Service

Terrible 0/10. Please contact me if you have had similar problems. Alex Gammill aka Railgun admits that it is a material problem and has happend before but says as he does this as a hobby he cannot do anything about it! He expects me to pay $100 for a replacement (inc shipping) PLUS import tax to UK!!!

I will retract this if Railgun provide a replacement free of charge OR provide a good will payment. So BUYER BEWARE and look elsewhere for a recognised brand with good Customer Support.

My putter is the one club that can never seem to stay put in my bag, until I ordered this one from Alex. He custom made it to length, lie, and weight. I play a 31" with a 355g head. I have never had an easier time lining up putts. Anything inside 5 feet is a gimme. It almost like cheating sometimes. It is very balanced and has a very solid feel to it.

Customer Service

Alex is very good at what he does. These putter are a work of art, and he is willing to do whatever it takes to satisfy you. He works out of Austin, Tx and you can visit his website at railgun.com

The railgun is a great buy. I've owned it for five months, but have only played two rounds. I've practiced quite a bit with it on my carpet and can consistently connect with another golf ball from anywhere between 3 and 10 feet. Over the thirty-six holes I played with it, I three putted only four times. The construction is exceptional, and I think it has a great look to it. I've combined the railgun with Scott Hazeldine's putting style(www.scigolf.com) and I am brimming with confidence in my putting.

Good touch on the greens requires practice. Since I don't get to practice very much, I set out to find a putter that would help to compensate for my shortcomings. After reading hundreds of reviews, I decided on the F75 Railgun as my choice. This putter requires you to play the ball more forward in the stance than other putters (because the shaft is located behind the putter face) and the face is a bit hot and gets the ball moving in a hurry. That said, the aluminum face of this putter provides feel that has to be experienced to be appreciated. It's smoother than any putter I've ever used. The o* of loft and the resulting ball speed demands a nice smooth and easy stroke. Some reviewers had problems with distance control, but I can say just the opposite. I find distance control to be much better than most other putters I've used. This putter has lead to a tempo and stroke like I've never experienced before, and in a very short period of time. I won't be mistaken for Loren Roberts anytime soon, but I can honestly say that I'm a better putter because of the Railgun. If you're fed up with the inconsistency of conventional putters, you might want to visit www.railgun.com and check out this putter.

Customer Service

Haven't needed it, but you're dealing directly with the inventor and builder of the club, so there are no other people to deal with. Should be no trouble here.

Before I bought the Railgun I`ve been reading all the reviews, and belive me they are all true.I have been training and playing with my Railgun since two month. The Railgun lines up very easy, I sink almost all short putts, the feedback is fantastic, the balls (especially the Precept Tour Premium LS)imediately begin to roll very smooth of the face. But I now tell you the true short story of my Club-Championships last weekend. I was a handicap 6 player last saturday when I played the first 18 holes level par!!!(never played this before), on sunday we had to play two rounds, the first round I played a 3 over, second round a 6 over. I was sinking putts with my Railgun you won`t belive.I became Clubchampion with 20 shots lead to second. On the last hole, about 50 members where wathing I holed a 15 meter putt for a birdy. My new handicap is 4. Thanks Alex Gamill for building the most exellent Putter I have ever used, even if the putter takes a lot of space in my bag.
