Tried this putter and frankly i was unimoressed. I thought it was a total peice of sh*t. But it dies seem to work for some of my friends well, but personally i think all putters with soft inserts are crap, save the white hot. If you want a real putter get a mizuno tpm.

This putter feels great. Even when hit off centre the ball holds its line and keeps same distance. The club feels soft but powerful. The mallet head encourages a good pendulum stroke and altghough it can be too powerful for short putts and pushes the odd 3-7 footer its one of the best putters around.

You know, maybe I've always had a chip on my shoulder when it comes to Ping. Not that it's just Ping, per se, but the big golf companies as a whole. Sure, they manufacture some terrific golf equipment. But with the aggressive ad campaigns comes inflated prices. And with these inflated prices, I'm left wondering if the equipment is really worth it.

So, this putter marked my very first foray into the world of Ping. In short, I think I need to change my narrow minded way of thinking!

Visually, I did not find much about this club appealing. That is, until I put it in my hands and began rolling putts with it. It sets up beautifully, perfectly square and with minimal offset. Its heft really encourages a smooth pendulum motion, and the insert is unique in the world of putter inserts. Now, I've owned an Odyssey, a TM Nubbins, a Cobra Lo-Pro (still love this one!), a Carbite ZG, etc... and the insert in the Ping Zing Isopur feels the best. Rather than a muting feel at impact, it imparts a very satisfying click with plenty of feedback. The ball leaves the clubface very predictably, no bounding like with some other insert putters.

I can run on and on. The simple truth is, for the money, you could do much worse than this putter. It's a top-notch, quality putter whose performance far surpasses its quirky appearance... as far as this golfer's concerned, at least. Right now it owns the top-spot in my bag... but for how long? I have a nickel-plated Titleist/Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Longneck on the way to my greedy little paws as I write this. Can the Ping hold on?.. time will tell.

This club as perfect feel when it on the sweetspot. Ok, i'll admit I am not a good putter but this club does not help me back on track when I missed it. I prefer mallet style. Sold the club after 3 rounds.

My daughter (90's golfer at age 14) played a Zing2. I played a B60. I upgraded both to the isopur models (Zing2i and B60i). We both were competent putters, and really liked the non-insert putters very much. The design of the isopur models combined with the insert has help both of us to be more consistent when lagging the ball to the hole (to avoid 3 putt greens), and on our short putts. By the end of this past golf season, my daughter had several rounds in the 80's, with the most significant being at the team championship tournament for local high schools.

OK. Not the worst putter in the world but certainly not the best. Weighting is not the best. Pretty heavy in the head for tough control on short putts. Also dead inconsistent. Some strokes would roll right into the center of the cup while the exact identical roll will trickle 2-3 feet past the hole. Im gonna sell this putter and try out the Odessey White Hot. Hopefully my absolutly sh*tty putting will improve.

I just finished my third game using this putter and I cant believe how good the results! Not a single 3 putt in 52 holes and not all my approach shots were close. Best value for my money. The balance is outstanding and distance is consistent.

I found that this putter provides the feel and touch around any green that instills great confidence in nailing those tuff putts. I found that the ease of control and great feel allows me the confidence to drain any putt, anywhere!

Love the putter. Excellent feel and I love the quasi-8802 design. Classic blade with just a little offset to get the hands forward. I've heard they are discontinued though due to a lawsuit over the name.
