Another fine putter from the Ping family. Well balanced, with great feel from the new insert

A great putter. It gives a solid/solf feel when hit sweatly. Unlike the Taylor made's nibbins, it is not ultra soft, thus gives a proper and more accurate feedback. This putter is quite forgiving due its larger putting surface than the original anser and the quite large a size of the isomer insert which covers about 80% of the overall surface. This latter feature is superior to the new iso force putter whose insert covers a lot less area. Larger insert provides uniformity to the putting surface. In this respects, I've to praise the new Odyssey putters which have an even larger isomer insert than their earlier models.
I totally agreed with Dave with regards to the uprightness of this putter. This putter is very upright which doesn't suit the lower hand putting style. Personally I found lower hand putting to be natural for me, so I've had to change my stroke to suit this putter. Furthermore I've had to cut the shaft by about 2" to fit my 5'8'' frame. In this respect, I found it much easier to play with odyssey's rosie putters. However Odyssey putters can not beat the true feeling generated by Ping putters. So it's certainly a trade off for me. I'll be grateful if anyone can suggest any putter with solid feel of Ping but less upright like Odyssey.
In addition, I don't particularly like the standard grip that comes with this model. I found it to be somewhat slippery. As far as the grip goes, Titliest's scotty cameron, Odyssey, and Callaway are all superior to this particular grip.
All in all, its a great putter. Solid/soft feeling (Not as soft as the Scotty Cameron but certainly not as flimsy as TM's nibbins) which works great with softer balls such as Titleist HP series or Precept. It's moderately forgiving and very durable. (Unlike Scotty Cameron which rusted very very quickly) And it's not awefully expensive, like the Scotty Cameron which is a great putter. ( both the feeling and cosmetic)

Wish I could say I don't 3 putt anymore, but occasionally it'll happen... Overall very reliable putter, ball rolls true and even on toe or heel mis-hits balls stays on line. This putter has improved my game and confidence.

Very good toe and heel balance. The insert makes short putts feel softer but longer putts seems to come up short.

I purchased this putter initially because i liked the heavier feel and putted very well with it for a while.but i became very inconsistent with it;especially distance control.Probably just my stroke but i'm going to sell it and try a B-60.Have gone back to my ping anser.Anyone interested in buying the zing2i send me an email.

Model Reviewed: Ping Isopur Sedona

I received Ping Sedona (the first model) as a gift five years and ago and played for about four years without looking at other ptters since this putter gave me the best feel and control among betters I tried, including non-blade types. I like to play with blade, but I have never seen a blade putter like this one. It is easy to put and excellent for long and mid range put to the hole. I rarely three puts with this.
A friend of mine tried my first Sedona and wanted to have one so that I gave it to him. SInce then I have played with other putters, but couldn't resist to get back to Sedona and thus I bought Sedona Isopur and loved this as much as I loved the original one. Unfortunately, this is out of product. if you want to try, you have to go for seconded one, albeit not to easy to find one. I will recommend this putter to everyone even those who have never tried blade type putter. Have a good golfing!!

What a great feeling putter. Very solid feel when hit in the sweetspot. Forgiving on mishits, though not as much as carbite or titleist models. Great setup and swingweight. Topline is a little thick, but advantages more than make up for this. I would recommend.

This a very forgiving and accurate putter. You can feel and see the difference, compared to the original ISOPUR series. The Tungsten weights and added forgiveness make this a great putter. Heel and Toe shots will keep thier line.
