Strength:
This is an amazing putter. The weight, easiness to putt and ball alignment is simply perfect. The sound it makes and feeling you get when hitting the ball is awesome, since it’s all metal and doesn’t have the soft technological insert like the other pings do. Weakness:
It takes courage to take it out in front of everyone and confidently putt with it, simply because it’s abnormally big. I ended up getting rid of it after a while just to try other putters out there, which weren’t as big and screaming for attention, but it’s earned its top 5 position in my list. Purchased: New

This is an amazing putter. Period. Took me three or four trips to the pro shop before finally giving in to buying it. Felt great in my hands from the start but I kept wrestling with the appearance. Now it's been in the bag for two full seasons with no regrets. My buddies have a fun time with it every time I pull it out. I ordered my Doc from Ping, sized to my specs. I strongly recommend a fitting. For me, this is the only putter I've used that instills the kind of confidence one needs to make a variety of putts. I love the weight, finish, and the long sight line. It lines up tremendously and helps promote a smooth swing. Plus, I think the color scheme is pretty cool. The head cover is also top notch with a magnetic clasp. Like anything, it's not for everybody. However, I think if people could get beyond the looks, they'd be pleasantly surprised. I have no intentions of getting rid of this putter. Very pleased. Customer Service Very accommodating. All my gear is made by Ping and they've been extremely helpful with all my ordering. Plus, their turn around time for new gear and repairs is very fast. Similar Products Used: Ping Zing putter, Odyssey Two-Ball, Odyssey Mallet, Ping Answer |

Picked up the Doc 15 used, but in like-new shape for $120 back in June of 2006.
Customer Service Not Needed Similar Products Used: Taylor Made Daytona 1 ASGI, Yes Natalie, Never Compromise Voodoo Daddy, Heavy Putter mallet, Two Bar (Blade) Putter, and both the Odyssey 2-ball blade and 3-ball putter. I've OWNED all these putters, and still keep several as back-ups. |

At first look you think omg but this putter is a great club. It has excellent spin off the face, there are no mis-hits, and it has a great feel in your hands. I am saving about 4-5 putting strokes since purchasing it. Its a great buy. The one thing is it is a little pricy. Customer Service Ping... all that needs to be said Similar Products Used: Yes! putters, Callaway blue |
