I had been putting with an older Odyssey Rossie 2 mallet putter for about the last 5 years. I had been frustrated by my putting and like a lot of us I knew it had to be the equipment and not myself. I had tried switching back to a conventional grip after putting cross handed for the last 7 years. This worked for a while but eventually the newness wore off. I used to be a 1 handicap, but since college I have played less and less. I never found the need to plop down $200 for a putter when I play maybe 20 rounds a year. But, after talking myself into it, I went to a new golf shop in town with the mind set of buying an Odyssey 2-ball as I love that putter when I have putted with it. Well, I walked out with the new Ping Craz-E instead and absolutely love it. The biggest thing for me is that the putter swings itself. Even for a 34" putter it was heavier than most and was easy to keep on a straight line. It was very easy to align with and I enjoyed my best putting performance the first round I played with. Both long and short putts were easy and I could use it off the green or from the edge of the fringe/rough fairly easily. I would recommend this putter for anyone suffering from the yips or a lack of confidence.

Prior to purchasing this Ping, I thoroughly researched the field and tried the majority of the Odyseey two-ball (White and DFX) line, as well as others, after deciding that it was finally time to make a change after using an anser style putter for 20 years. The P2i Craz e (Center Shaft) was far and away the clear choice for me, and I believe, any pendulum-swing golfer like myself. The design inspires confidence as you can feel the increased MOI, and the alignment guides are purely delightful. The solid, beautifully balanced weight helps promote a nice, balanced slow stroke that I feel will be the key to reaching my goal of 79. Ping quality speaks for itself. I found the insert just perfect and you get the desired feedback from the ball without it being too soft or spongy. Of course, 'try before you buy', but most definitely 5 stars or of 5 in my books

My putting always has been the weak link in my game,I'm 57,in high school I played in a district tournament, shot a 78 with 9 3 putt greens. If I only would have had this putter.First thing is I ordered it short,29".That was the key.Since purchasing it I've had 4 18 hole rounds that I sunk 6 putts of 20 feet or more.I have no problem with 15 feet and in.The ball rolls so smooth, never bounces, just rolls.Great feel,I used to use an Odyssey 2 ball.I never could control the distance, the longer the putt, the farther I went past the cup. This putter has great feel. One problem,I don't keep my head still,I have such good line that I look up too much and don't hit the putt hard enough. That I can fix. Also, the headcover id great, with the magnet instead of elastic or something to stretch and not fit.

After switching from Ping Ansers for years this putter has been remearkable. It puts a great roll on the ball and alignment is a snap. This putter has taken several strokes off my handicap.

I love this putter! It has such a unique feel off the face. Soft, yet emits a slight "click". More feel than the White Hot inserts. Alignment is a no-brainer, prettty much points itself. The most unique aspect of this flatstick is that there is a "topline" to the face. So many of the backweighted putters are a flat-topped mallet without any defined topline to aid in squaring the putter. The Ping grip by Winn is super tacky and lets you use a relaxed grip to take the tension out of your hands. The cover has a magnet that won't wear out like velcro. Balance is the key word with this one. The low center of gravity keeps it stable.

I play Ping irons also and never had a problem, so no experience with them yet.

This putter will shave strokes off your game. The first time I used it I saved about 4-5 strokes. This putter gets the ball rolling smoothly with the G2-I insert and is very easy to aim. Ping has outdone themselves with this putter! Its balanced very nice and comes with a cool head cover!
