I thought I was getting the best, you know it's been around forever and after reading the reviews I decided to go out and get a Ping. Big mistake. I will be moving to a Scotty Cameron instead of this big-headed rock of a putter. I know many people won't agree with this, but I have not had and distance control with this putter. If you like to putt with a rock this is for you. I'm sure I'm going to love my Scotty.

I have tried looking for a face balanced putter that was both forgiving and yet not too bulky. As you can see from the other putters tried list I've tried a few. Lets just say I'll be sticking to my Ping Ally 3. Its amazingly easy to align, remarkably forgiving off heel or toe strikes, which only leaves you to worry about distance control. If you have a straight back and through putting style, want forgiveness accuracy and confidence in your putter, and want to be able to "go" for every putt and not worry about the putt back then give this one a try, it's awesome.

This is a great putter. It helped me sink a lot more putts but for me it was hard to hit the ball in the center of the putter.

Love this club!! provides an excellent feel and you immediately know when you have mis-hit a shot. Great for judging distances. For instance i sunk a 30 footer with plenty of borrow last weekend. However i still lost the match.

Not the Classic Series stainless with the satin finish; got this brand new, original brushed steel Anser 2 w/white site line on eBay. No wonder everyone else has ripped-off the heel/toe weighting, full-shaft offset, etc. of this timeless design. Super easy to set up, predictable, precise roll, and a perfect, neutral feel. Inserts...why?

You never know what you can find at the goodwill store so when I found these clubs I bought them right away. They are well worth the value and are very nice.

I was never a fan of the 'blade' type putters, having been faithful to my old Ram Zebra for about 20 years (also bought used at $30, last of the big spenders). Then last year I started getting less confidence with it and saw this up for sale and figured that if I didn't like it I could easily get what I paid for it. Well you can forget that. It is such a nice club to use and my confidence on the green has gone up considerably. Lovely feel and great accuracy. Considering it's a design, I still don't know if it has been bettered that much. This will probably stay in my bag for at least as long as the Zebra. A great piece of work.

This is an excellent putter, I have only had it for about 4 rounds and I love it. This putter looks great at address and gives you confidence behind the ball. I bought a Jack Nicklaus JN 64 putter about 3 months ago and I just kept pushing the ball, because the hosel was off line. So I had some spare time at work (on a course) and tried out the Asner 4, I sank so many putts I was hooked. So I got a trade in one my JN 64 and picked the Asner 4 at a local golf shop were I get all my equipment. Check out my review on the I3 fairway woods and driver. I guess you would call me a PING GUY.

Very happy with this putter. Love the style and feel to it. Also can't really beat the price, even if it was used - it still performs. If I ever get another putter, it will definitely be another Ping.
