Had a Carbite which is a fine putter, but the consistency of the B60 has the Carbite collecting dust. Straight, consistent feel, accurate, good alignment, most of the things you want in a putter. The B60 is a value way to keep your total putts under 32 or so.

This is a follow-up, just got out on the course in this 70 DEGREE weather, in VA no less. I used my ping and I felt a feel that was lacked in the Summer. Sure the greens were slow, but I went in with 12 putts on the front and the first green was a 3 putt, you do the math. I love this club this is the best putter for the money at my local shop the price is now down to 50 bucks, just think you can get a Anser 1, 2, 4, My Day, and a dozen pro v''''s and a sleeve of Nike DD''''s for the price of my old cameron, which is exactly like what I did except I got a Titleist PT and a dozen pro v''''s for my Cameron. I''''m not in anyway dissing the cameron''''s the new stainless studios look very interesting, hint hint. By the way this is the best putter in golf and the best deal in golf.

This is a semi-mallet and has much better accuracy than the blade putters. The copper head has great feel as well. I find it more suitable for faster greens becoz the ball comes off the face a little slower. They''re also quite collectible; seems like they''re going for over $100 at eBay.

Customer Service

PING has great service. Takes a couple of days to reply queries, but never failed to provide a solution.

An excellent putter, espescially during the winter when the greens are slow and you really need to "hit" the ball. i love the grip, but it is slightly too long for me. i recommend strongly to get putters custom fitted (unlike myself). this has helped me to sink more puts and get a more consistant strike. it''s still used by many excellent pros and great value for money for what you get. PING MY DAY without a doubt, the best putter ever created. looking down at it at address it is the best looking putter you can find. it puts confidence in your mind that you will make a good stroke. after all, the best putter on tour, brad faxon, uses this putter, so obviously it works.

Model Reviewed: Darby SS

This is a face balanced, mallet style putter. It is much more appealing to look at than most mallets though, because it is not as bulky.

I had been using an Anser 2, but was having some difficulty getting putts started on line properly. I looked into face balanced putters and decided on the Darby due to the feel, appearance and most importantly, performance.

I also have an old Ram Zebra, which is also a face balanced, mallet-style putter. I never liked the feel of the Zebra at contact, so I was never content with it. The Darby is far and away a better putter in my opinion, and I don't expect to be buying any putters in the future.

This putter, at $85, is an amazing value.
