Ping Anser 3
I was out looking for a new putter as my previous model felt very light and unbalanced. After trying many models, I found this putter and immediately saw and felt a big difference in my putting. Balance, weight, clubhead size and look was perfect! Took it out on the course and I felt like I had been using this club all my life. This is a great club and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a putter that they are willing to go the distance with. You have to really work at the putter because the "sweet spot" is kinda tricky though! Other than that, this club is money!! If I were to have one downside to this club, it would be that the "sweet spot" is hard to find (I'm working on that). I find that hitting to high on the face sends that ball to long. |

Excellent putter. The weight is perfect for me(13 yrs. old). Mallet head designs always leave me quite a bit of room past the hole, and small blades cause too much wrist action. The feel is incredibly solid but lets you know when you get a mis-hit. Customer Service None Similar Products Used: Titleist, Odyssey#5, Cleveland-> (Worth a try!) |

I used to use a ping eye putter back in the day but when I decided to return to golf recently I tried a vast number before settling on the anser5. The offset and plain head looks great from above and you get a consistent feel from the face, unlike many of the trendy putters with daft inserts. Love thips putter. Before I had alignment problms. They are gone now. The best feeling putter, easiest to line up, and best value ever.I used to be an average putter, taking approximately 18 putts per nine holes. My first day with it, I had no practice with it and only took 13 putts on nine holes. The best puuter ever. Recommened to anyone Similar Products Used: White Hot #1 |

Ping Anser Mag Bronze
I have owned the Camerons, Bettinardis, White Hots and Tri Hots and they are all great putters. But I always come back to my Ping Anser. It performs just as well, the mag bronze looks just as distinguished but more like an old friend than a piece of jewelry, and putts just as true. I have nothing against the other manufacturers, in fact I still own a Cameron, but this is definitely the most bang for your buck. Few OEM's will let you choose your loft, lie, grip, and shaft length - but Ping does it for less than half the cost of the others! I trust this club and don't feel like I have made such a huge investment that it better perform at every outing or else. Go to Ping's website and see all of the options they offer with their Magnesium Bronze models, then go get fitted and order one, I got mine in less than a week! PAL 5BZ
Tried new putters by all makers, clones, etc... Stopped into Play It Again Sports and found a dozen different makes of Ping. Anser, Zing, MyDay, PAL 5BZ, all were priced under $49.00! Loved MyDay but the grip and shaft were modified and funky, the Zing was OK but has no center line, the 5BZ was in great condition and played just as well as the others and for $39.00 who was I to say no. Replaced an ancient Walter Hagen, bronze cavity back cross hair number. Putter has performed beyond expectations on the dance floor. |

Great Putter. Scoring lines help with address and lining up the putts. Solid feel. I put a WINN grip on it to complete the deal. Why pay 3 times as much for a Scotty Cameron. This is just as good. I think BETTER! Customer Service NONE Similar Products Used: Scotty Cameron. Oddysey Rossie Blade. Carbite. |
