When I picked up golf I made the mistake of getting a cheap blade putter. It was fine in the beginning but now that I land on the green in 2 and still bogey, things needed to change. I tried out the TM Itsy Bitsy Spider (or something like that) and some of the RIFE mallet offerings as well as the Odyssey SRT 2-ball. I can't say that I mastered the green at the store with any of the putters, but I did shoot much better with the SRT. It came down to how the clubs felt. I had much better distance control and the feel of the ball off the face of the SRT was extremely consistent. I could tell with the SRT rings that the club was not twisting like the TM and Rife had a tendency to. My choice was easy in the end and it helped my game a lot. Last 9 I played, I only 3 putted once and it was on the CRAZIEST, FASTEST green I had ever played. Customer Service Not Applicable Similar Products Used: TM ItsyBitsy Spider

I bought this putter a month ago after trying Taylormade Daytona, Scotty Cameron, Odyssey Black Series and White Hot. I had a used White Hot #1 which I found had been bent. Hence decided to go in for a new putter. Previously I used to miss those close putts owing to minor twisting of the grip. What prompted me to try this out was the promise in the specs and revciews that once lined up, the stroke would be straight. It worked exactly that way and after 2 hours of trying out the other putters mentioned above, I discovered that I was nailing the max with this one at the putting green inside the store. Had second thoughts about getting the White hot in similar style. The price of this one - $99 and the results discouraged me from buying the White Hot (wshich BTW is a great putter). Am I glad !! I've played 4 rounds so far and have had on an average of 1(one) 3-putt per round. My putting and driving are my strong points. But I hadn't imagined it would be this good. This putter is gonna be in my bag for a long time. As they say feel is everything and i felt good about this when i was browsing, when I was trying so I bought this one. The long putts are also not a problem as I now putt past the hole unlike before when my long putts were lags. Would suggest this one strongly. I'm 5'10" and bought the 34" shaft.
