Odyssey White Hot Putters

Odyssey White Hot Putters

DESCRIPTION

Features an insert made from the same material as Callaway's "Rule 35" Ball. When machined into a putter, the cover material provides both a softer feel and pleasing sound, while maintaining consistent distance control and responsiveness.

I got a good deal on this putter or I probably would have never even tried it. Boy am I glad I did. I started using it doubting that it would be effective for me, but I immediately found myself hooked. The 2 discs on top lined up with your ball gives immediate feedback on where your club face is aimed. Very easy to visualize the ball path. As others have indicated, the White Hot insert is very accurate for distance control once you get accustomed to it. I was never a fan of insert putters, but this one has changed my mind. The putter is face balanced, but unlike a lot of the face balanced putters I have used you have a great sense of stability throughout the stroke. The ball comes off the face rolling very smoothly. The design is unique for certain, but with practice and as the putts rolled true I quickly learned to love it! One word of caution, you will feel so confident about where your putt is going that it is sometimes easy to put too hard of a stroke on the ball to get it there, but practice will take care of that. Even the headcover goes on and off nicely! I have literally stopped looking at other putters and feel like my 2 year search is finally over! Try one out, maybe it will win you over like it did me!

This putter helped my game tremendously. Droped my putts per round by an average of three strokes! I much prefered the center-shafted model over the originals -- it is so much easier for me to line up and keep the face square to the ball. I was also more accurate in hitting the sweet spot on the face more often. Great feel to this putter as well. If you''ve got a case of the yips, I would seriously give these center shafted Odysseys a go.

Took a whole bunch of putters to the practice green and had a 2-hour shoot-out to decide on my first new putter. I didn´t like the looks of the Odyssey too much, but in my opinion the performance was quite a bit better than all the other models tested. Ball roll is superb and the feedback from the putter is great. Try a few shots with your eyes closed to feel it, then compare to other putters. You´ll get a good hint if the ball is short, overshot or on-target. I ended up buying it, regardless of the steep price in Euro-Land (pings where about 20% less) and am very confident that it´ll help me improve my game.

I really like this putter. Very smooth and very consistant. It lines up great & has a very solid, balanced feel. I wasn''t sure about the stock grip at first, but I''ve gotten use to it and now prefer it to my old putter''s grip. Keep a head cover on it as the insert could be easily damaged clanging around in your bag ( my only value knock on it ).

This is a fantastic putter. It has one of the softest feeling faces around and just inspires confidence at every angle. The ball jumps off the face so you really have to putt the practice greens before jumping on any course. The look of this putter is absolutely fabulous and it is priced reasonably. Great product.

Great putter. Looks and feels great, although there is a tendency to leave it short on long putts. I love this putter, it has shaved about 5 strokes.

This is a great feeling putter. Here is how to make it even better. Put a couple pieces of lead tape on the flat trailing edge of the club. It will dramatically increase stability. This has helped me shave several strokes off of my putting game. The heavier head weight seems to "keep it on track".
