I love this putter. It has a beatiful feel and it is particularly good for lag putting. It may not be for everyone, but it is worth trying. I even like the look of it at this stage.

Model Reviewed: Odyssey White Hot 2 Ball Blade

I have always favoured a mallet style putter due to the size of the putter head and the heavier weight that gave me more confidence at address and during my putting stroke. I always found myself swinging too hard with traditional putters. Having tried various brands and models of mallet putters it was inevitable that I would one day buy a Odyssey 2 Ball. I went to my local golf store and tried out the White Hot and the DFX in both the 2 Ball and the 2 Ball Blade. I found the DFX to be too hard off the face, less feel for me, but it is worth trying them both so you get what's right for you. I putted 10-20 balls with each putter and found the White Hot 2 Ball Blade the best for me. The slightly thinner area around the 2 White Disks made it much easier for me to line up my putt and it was a simple case of just finding the right pace and 8 of 10 dropped in. It does take some getting used to, as with all putters really, but it will be the best money you have spent and take shots off your game. No longer will you get to the green in regulation and waste your hard work 3 putting. They may seem expensive, but compared to a new driver costing three times as much that won't save you nearly as many shots it's a bargain.

This putter is the best. Made 2 birdie putts at 8+ feet first time used! I have had Ping putters, Taylormade, Zebra, but this one is the best. The white hot insert is the perfect hardness, not too hard, not too soft, just right! Believe me it is worth the extra money. If you have any problems putting, this one will cure all that ails.

Great putter, sets up beautifully and it is very hard to put a bad stroke on it. Just read the greens well and your away. Also i feel the white hot insert is not as soft on some of the earlier models, a big bonus on fast greens.

Immediately fell in love with this putter at my local golf shop. Loved the feel of the original 2 ball, but never cared for the chunky appearance. This is the perfect mix between a blade and a mallet. Feel and distance control are both outstanding. It's a real confidence builder.

Best putter I have ever had...period...I will never go back to any other style as long as I play golf. Play it for TWO DAYS and you will swear by it as well. I kid you not!

Model Reviewed: Odyssey White Hot 2 Ball Blade

Had the White Hot Blade for 3 years, and after trying the ordinary White Hot 2 ball, I decided to stick with my old putter. I then tried the Scotty Cameron Futura, which was excellent for line, but suspect on distance. Have compromised with the purchase of the White Hot 2 ball blade. Anything within 6 feet is in - anything longer than 20 feet is close. It’s nearly as good as the Futura for fast greens but far more accurate for distance and feel, especially on slower greens. At £50 less than a Futura it’s far better value as well. Hopefully I’ve seen the last of three puts.

At first I thought that $400.00 for a used putter was crazy, but now I know why it costs so much. My scores have dropped from about 190 all the way down to 155 on average within the first 3 rounds. What a difference this thing makes on the green. Now my golf partners are still on their tee shots of the next hole when I sink it. Makes for a lot less tiring game when you don't have to drag your driver out of the bag along with your putter on every green. Just kidding...I shoot in the 80's and paid $155 for this new putter, but I swear I've had to wait on groups like that ahead of me from time to time. This is an excellent putter for those who usually find themselves leaving the ball short of the hole more times than past it. Practice, practice, practice is what it took for me to get a feel for this mallet. I think it did help me get into the 80's more often than before, but I also changed irons from '96 Big Bertha to Ping i3+ about the same time. Hard to tell. I like a solid feeling putter and this one is merciful.
