I bought this putter a few years ago after winning the office NCAA pool. It was the first putter I bought that was more than 30 bucks and I'd always wanted one. Until recently, I've putted okay, but never consistently. I decided to take it to Pat Ryan Golf and see if the putter fit me. I was prepared to have it adjusted, but found that it fit me perfectly. Since I knew that it wasn't the equipment, I decided to adjust the ball position off of my left toe and go back to my old putting grip. What I found that really helped was using the forward press before taking the putter back. This kept my hands in front of the head of the putter and gave the ball a more true roll. I was just about to give up on this putter, but since making some adjustments, I've been sinking puts like crazy and my scores are showing it. Just goes to show you that it's usually not the equipment, but the golfer.

I have this in my bag for several years. It is one solid stick. I ma not a great putter, but i make my share with thi club. I never thought I would like a mallet. I have since tried and tested several other models but have not found anything better.

I switched to a mallet style putter from blades primarily for the longer sight lines. Believe me, deciding on the switch took a while - I had to grow out of the macho "Chunky putters are for oldies and for people who can't play the game" attitude first. But the combination of face balancing, high weight and distinct alignment lines sold me. These features all combine to create an easy swinging putter which helps build a consistent stroke. By the way, I'm trying to use the current tour-style moderate in-out-in putting stroke, not a pure down the line as was used in the past. My main problem was shifting from metal face putters to polymer, nothing a little practice didn't eliminate. Highly recommended, a real confidence booster for those 4 footers.

Customer Service

Washington Golf Center in Bethesda was very helpful in helping me decide on which putter to try - good knowledge of the products on display. Using a laser sight off the putter face to help dial out my chronic push was a plus. Haven't dealt with Odessey service.

Great feel and has very nice touch to it, a little heavy and sometimes a bit hard to line-up. Overall a very good putter for a very good price

This is a great putter. It cut about 1-2 strokes off my putting. In my opinion it has a much better feel than the White Hot mallet.

Wow, what a putter! Had been using a TM Nubbins blade, and never really felt confident on any putts with that stick. First time on practice green dropped 2 balls on the edge and 3rd within 12 inches of cup. Played later that day and sank a 35 footer for par and got closer than ever before on other holes. Absolutely an awesome feel. Great weight distribution---hard to make a poor stroke with this putter. Buy one before they get discontinued!!

Just got this putter. I really enjoy the feel of it and the face of the putter really launches the ball. Feels good. Recommended.

A great deal on a great putter. The face was slightly worn but still offers good feel. I was hovering in the low 90's but broke 90 with this putter. The guy who sold it to me also has Ping Pal 2 and 5 for 20$ US each. Email me for details
