An absolute thing of beauty! NIKE has scored a winner with this putter. Its gorgeous design and surprising performance is definitely something that NIKE has taken a lot of time to develop, and it indeed has no doubt created a putter that they can be proud of. What really fascinated me with this beauty is its ability to produce true straight line shots, with superior accuracy. The size of the head gives the player confidence at address, and it's state of the art design, assures the user to be able to produce solid square shots at impact. What also got my attention was the soft feel of the blue chip aluminum insert, which is the heart of this putter. I chose the 35" length for the simple reason that I prefer to have a stand up posture when I'm aligning myself when making my putts, as compared to a 34" length which would require me to crouch myself, which would lead me to having a little strain in my lower back. I've tried alot of putters in my 16 years of playing golf, and I have to say that this putter got my nod for me to replace and sell my ping eye 2 putter, that I have used for the past 14 years. Cheers to NIKE for putting alot of time and effort to create this wonderful putter! But then again the putter can only do so much, because in the end the putts that you sink will all depend on the ability and skill of the man who holds that putter.

I'm a starter who is struggling to break the 100 barrier. I bought a demo unit of the Oz when they offered it to me at a half of the regular price. It had some noticeable scratches and nicks, but not on the critical surface. I consider it a good deal. The putter feels pretty hefty. The head is odd looking and I have no idea if the design has anything to do with the performance. But when you hit a ball on the green, you would instantly notice the well-balanced construction of the club. The swing is stable and I feel like every aspect of my putting game is under control. The feel is exceptional. While the featured "Blue Chip" does not appear to be anything special, the impact feels very soft yet solid. The ball rolls well. My putting game has improved 2 folds. While I still has not broken the "barrier" I have approaced infinitely closer to it because of this Oz.

Customer Service

I contacted Nike via e-mail hoping that they may replace my demo with a brand new one. While they were not fooled by my scheme, their response was prompt and polite.

What a putter! I was a little skeptical at first, simply because I could not imagine Nike making a first-class putter. Proved me wrong. Everything about this putter is great -- feel, look, performance. Much easier to put the ball where you want it on the green -- takes a little time to get used to lining up your putts, seemed to push them when i first started using it, but once i got used to the putter it was all sweetness from there. Five Stars *****

The look is what caught my eye intially and I tested this putter out several times at the local shop just for fun. I purchased it after a brief session on a practice green. As far as short putts go, this no different than any other putter, if you misalign it, then you miss the putt. However, the shining factor is in lag putting. It may just be me, but I can always leave long putts in the wash bucket (within 3 feet). The balance is nice and the alignment aids serve their purpose well. The strength of this putter comes from the balance of the weight. It sometimes feels like you short stroked it but the ball gets rolling so fast that it carries right to the hole. It hits straight and true almost always and missed putts are a result of misreads more than control of the putter. Excellent putter for the price and well worth the investment. Improved my putting average by about a half stroke each hole by redusing 3 putts. I am also a sucker for the swoosh and nice headcover but that is secondary once you try this mallet out.

Had the staff at Pro Golf Discount remove the standard grip and place a Winn mid-size on the shaft, felt much better. Took several weeks to adjust to the strange set up of the Oz, it looked like a lot of loft on the face. Lag putts are great, this putter has great touch as well. Still adjusting to alignment on short putts. Balance is very nice, don't seem to notice toe and heel shots too much. Great performance for the price.

Dumped my 2 ball for lack of feel. Putted with this in the shop, and liked its balance. I have 3 rounds under my belt with this putter and I'm impressed. Good weight, nice balance, superior feel, and excellent roll. Very good on long putts. I feel it's worth the money.

I've been on a putter search for quite awhile and something about this putter just works for me. I've never been a huge fan of the looks of the 2-ball or the new Scotty Cameron Futura, and the Hogan Bettinardi Big bens are just too expensive for me. This is an inexpensive putter with some of the benefits of the 2-ball et al but without a gargantuan head. I found it very easy to line up once I got used to it.

This putter has a great feel, the rear biased weighting provides very true roll. The only negative I have is the double bend shaft takes some getting used to. I am giving it plenty of time as I had initially struggled, but am turning the corner and getting used to it. Rolls the ball so nicely!
