Never Compromise TDP 5.2
Frustrated after not being able to lag a putt that was more than 5 feet out; I set out to get a reliable, nice feel putter. I have found all that and more with the tdp 5.2. Just glancing at putters one day on ebay, I saw a tdp 5.2. I had heard good things about Never Compromise and the tdp series. I also liked how it looked and saw that it only had one day left and that no one had bid on it. Laid down a starting bid of 50 bucks and won it. After using a taylor made nubbins putter with a heel shaft for 2 years, I can't say that I was used to hitting a center shafted putter. So, I really had to work with this putter to get aiming and alignment right. But, man has it payed off. I haven't 3 putted since buying this putter. The tdp doesn't really have an insert, but the "trans matter" as it's called, works better than any insert I have hit. You really feel the ball come off the face and lag on 40 foot putts are A LOT easier now. I looked on the face and noticed little almost half circles all over the face. I thought they would just create more spin, but they seem to be working just fine. Alignment is a huge putting problem that I have. There is 3 lines on the 5.2. The back two are about the size of a golf ball. The middle one is for the center of the ball. The lines really help as far as alignment goes. Overall, a great putter. I won't be in the market for a new putter for a while. Great factory grip, also. Look for one of these on ebay, you can buy these at a VERY cheap price.
