well, what a quirky but lovely little putter this is !

It takes me back to days of yore, with a wooden body and metal face - but it really is a 21st century tool.

I contacted Peter from Drop Putters in australia and after consultation I went for a shortened shaft (33.5 inches) and 6 degrees of loft ... which with my strong forward press comes up at zero or 0ne degree.

The Putter is beautifully weighted and very easy to line up with its long square face. The stroke is like ironing a silk scarf as you gently feel the ball move off the brass face.

As their website says, having the vast majority of the weight ahead of the hosel helps the ball roll .... and indeed, it keeps rolling straight and true.

No one has seen a putter quite like it in my 4balls, but all thoroughly love the look, set-up and feel.

Hand made ... PROPERLY HAND MADE .... and custom fitted, and sent to my house in the UK for under £80... great stuff!
