the ZM was created by a gentleman from southern california which originally was called the "Zone Master." He also was the first to mark the sweet spot on the head of the putter. The design was stolen by big named golf companies. the lack of knowledge about the design caused the problem with the head falling off. this man had no compensation for the design. Perhaps if he had used a different tactic in trying to sell his design, you would have a better putter today.

I bought this putter at a golf show for about $100, including a sand wedge. It soon became my favorite putter. I like the perimeter weighting that improves the results of miss-hits. Unfortunately, I have a habit of tapping the head into divots while repairing them. After a couple of years the head broke off. It doesn't seam repairable, so I am now in the market for a new stronger putter.

The putter has wonderful balance and I love it. However, the head has become loose - twice. The first time, my pro tried to repair it, failed and gave me a new one. The head on the new one also loosened. Obviously a poor design.

I had to post a review on this putter even though I have asked Chris numerous times to put up a "ZM" section. Great deal for a putter that was $50 off retail at the time. Felt great and alwats put a great roll on the ball. Was playing today, picked up a ball while leaning on the putter and the head came off. Had it for about 6 months and I loved it every day I had it (just a lesson to never lean on your putter). Now this kid (me) who has $300 saved up towards new irons and woods now has to spend it on a lost (stolen) sand wedge (588 RTG), and a broken putter. An excellent, STURDY putter (despite my own carelessness) that I loved and everyone should try. Just find a reason to hate this club.

Traded in the Nubbins for this putter and haven't regretted it yet. The heel-toe weighting combined with the blade work so well together. A mallet overpowers my ability to putt, but I still like the feeling that the putter has some mass to it.

It's virtually a point and shoot system. Not idiot-proof, but if it improved my putting, then it's the closest possible thing. Has an excellent grip as well.

Picked it up on eBay as a "demo" but it had all tags and was still factor-sealed. An absolute steal.

I have always had problems three putting. With this putter my three putting has been greatly reduced. Distance is the key, my putts are rolling truer and getting to the cup. Direction wise, let's get real: the club is not going to fix your direction problem. If you're not aiming at the hole, the putter will not help.

For the past year I have been struggling with my putting. Distance control, three putting and not making anything over 10 feet. I picked this putter up in my local pro shop for 80 bucks, the best putter I have ever used. The first day, I made three long puts in a row. Distance control is superb, even when missing the sweet spot. I have droped many shots off of my game.

This putter is as well balanced as they come. I was about to buy an odyssey when I tried this model. Not even close as far as balance. It practically swings itself. The polar balancing is not hype; it is very forgiving on mis-hits and keeps its line little effort. It has definitely helped reduce the number of 3 putts.
