I'm a twice a month recreational golfer but this putter makes me look like a pro on the dance floor. At least it did yesterday. I bought it just before playing a round and only practiced with it for about 15 minutes prior to teeing off. I had more 1 and 2 putts for the round than any round I've ever played. This putter is incredible. If you can read a green plan on making a lot more putts inside of 6 feet. You may never miss another straight putt less than 3 feet forever with this thing. The weight and balance is perfect and creates the perfect pendulum stroke. The alignment line is very easy to use and is better than a pair of balls in my opinion. The quality of the machine work is typical Bettinardi and looks as good as anything from that Scotty guy. Best money I ever spent on a single club.

This is the first putter I've felt I couldn't afford not to buy. I've been eyeing-up the SC-Futura for a while but didn't really get on with it that well on the practice green. I tried all of the Scotty Cameron Studio putters I could get my hands on but nothing really stood out. I managed to get a look at a baby-ben a few weeks back and realy liked the look, build quality and setup of the club. Decided to go for a Big Ben in the end and managed to pick one up from eBay for £95. Given the session I've just had on the practice green it could well be the best money I've ever spent on golf equipment - it has gone straight in the bag. I bought the 35" model (so my dignity is still intact ;-) ) and the way it sits at address suits me perfectly. As you can see from the picture above, the aim line is huge so alignment is very accurate. I hit 100 putts from 4' in my first session and missed just 1. I imagine I'm fairly typical as a weekend golfer in that before now I missed more than my fair share of 4-6' putts. With this putter, my standard has really improved. I haven't mentioned the roll characteristics yet, well it seems to be very true. At least on a par with the futura. My grandad used to say "a bad workman always blames his tools", well if he were alive today I'd say "grandad, a good workman always has the best tools" currently, in my opinion, this is the best you can get. I'm very, very pleased

This putter is the best putter I have ever used. That is saying a lot seeing as how I have used just about any putter you can name, Futura, Studio Design, 2-ball, Bobby Grace MOI, Doc 17, Rossie, Nike Oz....and so on. Anyway I know I make my mind up quickly when I use a putter but this thing is almost automatic. The alignment is the easiest I have ever seen. The speed is the most amazing thing. When I first used this putter the speed was almost right on except for on reallllly long putts. I highly recommend this putter and I think will help anyone putt better at any level.

Model Reviewed: Big Ben Belly Putter

To correct the reveiw below me this putter is not "sweet", this putter is MONEY. U cant miss with it. Even though the belly version should be illegal, it isnt so buy it and u will never hit a bad putt again. It is literally impossible to make a bad stroke with this putter. The weight is so perfect. Ben Hogan has defintly made the greatest putter in the history of golf.

The word to describe this putter is "sweet." This putter lines up naturally and it feels pure when making contact with the ball. The ball rolls with very little bounce/sidespin. I bought this putter simply to take it out to a natural putting surface and really try it out. I putted great on the practice green so I decided to play the front 9. I covered the nine in 37 strokes (2 over par) with 15 putts. Needless to say I will be keeping the putter. It definitely lives up to its reputation and its certainly worth the price.

Model Reviewed: Bettinardi Baby Bee Prototype

The Baby Bee putter from Bettinardi takes the cake! Its a slightly smaller putterhead than the Big Ben, but the feel is the same. I've been using mine for over a year now ever since Bob Bettinardi gave it to me to try out and give him my feedback. The feedback is incredible!! Don't be confused...this is not in the Ben Hogan line...yet. This is the same putter used by Jim Furyk to win the 2003 U.S. Open at Olympia Fields. Being a pro, I get to try all different types of equipment. Before the Baby Bee, I was using a Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless Newport and was a little timid to try an unconventional putter, but I'm glad I did.

I have always had problem with putters, owning from the Odyssey White Hot to my previous trade in of the Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless. I recently tried the 2 ball blade and still kept on 3 putting. It has been a frustrating battle shooting low 80s, never shooting a 79 due to my poor putting. Now, however, I can honestly say I have found the perfect putting machine. I say machine because with the Big Ben it's nearly impossible to miss. The line is easy to read and with the incredible feedback I was able to shoot my first 77.

This putter was amazing. The very first time I hit a putt with it I made it dead center in the hole. Then I gave it a little test to see how good it really is,first was a 2 footer then 5,10,15,and 20.I MADE THEM ALL!!! Plus the feel on this baby is amazing(nice buttery soft). And also its so easy to aim with this thing you just point and shoot and it either goes in or its in gimmie range.

i consider myself a golf equipment junkie. i have tried them all. this is the best putter ive ever had the pleasure to use. incredible roll. great alignment and weight. does take a little getting used to because of weight and momentum. you may find yourself a little long on your putts at first but when you r dialed in it is a confidence inspirer!

Great weight and setup on this club. The big T alignment line really helps improve aim. It provides a pure roll and those scary 2/3/4 footers are nothing with this baby. Great thick grip as well. Beatiful headcover but it is a pain to put on and take off.
