I had never heard of this putter until a friend of mine bought one at a garage sale. He doesn't play golf and said he wanted $20.00 for it, which I quickly gave him. I've been playing golf for over 45 years and I must say that the Asterta IVM Mallet rolls the ball better that any putter I've have ever owned. I've played 2 rounds with it and 1 putted 10 greens the first round and 7 greens the second round. With a lot of these putters out there on line in the 20-30 dollar range I would definitely advise everyone to give it a try.

Great putter. I bought on a whim after struggling with my Nike putter for the last couple of months. I read about the Aserta putters having the highest "PEI" in golf. I thought it was another gimmicky "Research Studies have shown" crap advertisment. But when I saw it online for only $20, I figured I'd buy into the hype. The IVM produces a nice forward spin almost immediately upon impact, unlike my Nike OZ T100, which tends to produce a noticable backspin/skid on the first 6 to 8 inches, especially on putts longer than 10 feet. Very easy to control distance. The balance is excellent and the take away is very fluid. As with the previous reviewer's comments, this putter is excellent dead center and off the toe, but heel shots are less than desirable. Contact did take some time to get used to since it doesn't have the nice insert like my Nike putter does. I broke into the 70's for the first time playing golf with this putter yesterday! Not bad for a $20 putter. I put my Nike putter on Ebay this morning!

Bought this putter on ebay for $20. It has a real nice Winn grip, and the bend of the steel shaft is good. The head is very small and looks not real expensive. The perimeter weighting is biased towards the toe.

The performance of the putter is pretty good. The ball does start rolling very quickly off of the face and does roll very well, as long as you hit it in the center or off the toe. Heel shots die very quickly.

It is worth the twenty bucks.
