Shoots in the 70s

Just picked up a set on Ebay for the wild price of $31 plus shipping, 3-PW in 9/10 condition.... thought I would use them as a backup set or for guests... well, these irons are just sweeeeet! Zevo is known for their radical design in irons, which obviously didn't catch on, and they sold out or were bought by Golfsmith, which basically sold the stuff off. This is the only "normal" looking iron from Zevo, I guess to late in the game to save them... BUT, they are great irons. They look like a combination of several very good irons... they have the soles much like the Ping G5 ieons, the back looks like Cleveland TA series, from the top you see a Taylor Made RAC sort of look.... mild offset, factory True temper shafts in R flex feel great. Whatever the design combo, it works great, easy to line up, great balance, gets the ball up fast, long irons are a joy to hit, ball explodes with a very soft feel, very accurate, very good distance. ball flight is high but not ballooning. These irons have a great shot at moving some or all of my trusted Ping Zings out of the bag. Very hard to find a set, but if you can land one at a good or medium good price, do it! This is the sleeper set of the decade! Customer Service UNK, but maybe Golfsmith still backs them... Similar Products Used: Almost everything. These are better than just about everything I have hit, except, maybe, my Zings, which are just so reliable, and I include expensive stuff like Callaway X-18 pro, TM R7, CG4 Clevelands, Ping G5 and i5... |
