YONEX V-MASS 250's
A follow up to my previous review. Well another 2.8 rounds went into the books and you guessed it another club bit the dust. This time it was my PW where I hit it flush off the first cut of rough on the 15th hole. It was agonizing to look down at my club as the head barely hanging on to the few fibres from the graphite swung in the wind. I took it back into GolfTown and requested a new set of 260's, steel shaft and a straight up trade. Yonex agreed, big surprise! Customer Service Golf Town is the greatest place to buy golf equipment. Very helpful and courteous. Similar Products Used: King Cobra, Mizuno, Taylor Made |

Yonex V-Mass 250
I've only had these for a few days, but after two times on the range I can safely say that these irons are very, very nice. The feel of the short irons is great - smooth, soft (when I hit it right), and easy to stick. I'm still trying to get used to the longer irons, but I have the feeling that it's the fault of my swing. I've had mis-hits and I've turfed it, and the clubs haven't broken yet...if that says anything about the reliability. Customer Service Haven't used it yet... V-Mass 250 Graphite Stiff shafts
First impressions: a little head heavy and pretty heavy for a graphite club. They seem to hit long and were really forgiving. Was initially very happy with them for $400 CDN. I had read all the reviews after buying the clubs, but still didn't believe that I could break a club. Well, the first trip to the range proved me wrong. On the third swing with the 3 iron, I put the ball 180 and straight. Unfortunately, the club head went with it, about 40 yards: it was straight though, if that's any consolation. My swing speed is about 85mph; just borderline stiff shaft speed. So the clubs are not reliable. I wound up exchanging them for a set of Hogan Apex Edges - a much lighter and stronger set of clubs. Stay away from these clubs - I'm pretty sure that the v-mass 260s and 350s have corrected this problem. Customer Service Golftown was great. I told them about the problem and they didn't just warranty it for me, they let me exchange for a completely new set. I get the feeling they knew about the club defects. V-Mass 250
I purchased these stiff graphite shaft irons not less than a month ago and I have already broken the 4 iron. I played all of 4.5 rounds with them. With the exception of that break I find these clubs incredibly long. I replaced my Lynx Parallax irons with stiff true temper shafts and where I used to hit my 8 iron I can hit the PW with the V-Mass 250's. I am not sacrificing any accuracy either. The distance you get from these irons is incredible and the feel is exceptional. These clubs are weighted very nicely with the tungsten inserts giving a relatively light club an anchored feel. Customer Service I have just taken back the 4 iron and Golf town tells me it will take a week. Golf Town has above average customer service skills. I will always buy my golf equipment their! Yonex V-mass 250

None After deciding to start playing proper golf (I''ve practiced in parks and on ranges) I looked around at which set of clubs to make my own. I''ve always liked the feel of yonex clubs so I decided to buy a set of ADX 400''s great I thought until I actually used them in anger where the shallow trajectory caused a few problems and a loss of distance. This caused me to look at the yonex range and visit a local store where they had the V-mass irons on sale for less than the used 400''s so after a few test swings the swap was made. The 250''s are an absolute fantastic club great distance, fantastic feel great looking BUT after 50 or so swings I changed from a 5 iron to the 8 so I could get a feel for a shorter club. After placing the first ball on the mat and nailing a perfect 150 meter flag I tried it again but this time the head of the club followed the ball and all I had in my hand was a very lightweight and expensive shaft . As we know all graphite shafts snap from time to time so this has no way put me off from using these clubs or swapping to another brand. (For reference I''m using the regular shaft with a swing speed of 96mph) Id say try them and see what you think and I don''t think you''ll be disappointed . Customer Service fantastic service. I couldn''t find the missing head but they still sent me a new 8 iron with no hassle at all. Similar Products Used: ADX400. Zoid |

V/Mass 250

None READ ME BEFORE YOU BUY!!! V Mass 250''s are great clubs if you like to break things (i.e. - 3 clubs have broken between 2 sets before I decided to switch to another manufacturer). As the story goes - I originally purchased Yonex ADX Hybrids two years ago and really enjoyed them until two clubs broke at the hosel over the course of 1.5 years. After they had replaced the first club and by the time the second club broke, since the model was discontinued, I was given the option to upgrade to V-Mass 250 for free. I thought that was great and found that the clubs were fine at first. However, it was shortly after I owned them that I realized the +1 inch clubs I ordered were actually made with 1 inch inserts. The inserts cause the clubs to be unstable. Additionally, after about 10 rounds, a club from this new set (the V Mass) broke. Bottom line is if your swing speed calls for a stiff shaft you should not waste time with Yonex because the clubs are highly prone to breaking (3 clubs from 2 sets). I now have switched to Titliest 990B''s (steel not graphite) and a company that I know I can count on. Customer Service Great at first they gave me a new set after two clubs broke in my first set. However, the replacement set sucked. They didn''t make the shafts longer as instructed (instead they put inserts on the e Similar Products Used: Yonex Super ADX, Titliest 990B |

Yonex V-Mass 250
I have been using a set of Yonex V-Mass 250 irons for about 3 months and am very happy with them. They are my second set of irons and replace a set of Spalding Executives. Using these clubs, my iron play has clearly improved. I am getting improved distance and better control. The clubs have a great feel to them. When I connect well, the ball really rockets off the clubface. Even my mishits are longer and straighter than with my old irons. I can confidently recommend these irons. Superb Quality, great design, incredibly forgiving. Ultimum Ti shaft and club design has enabled me to hit the ball much farther, higher, and land the ball softer than my Pings I3 O-size. Price is very reasonable for the quality that you are getting...TRY THEM !! Customer Service Extremely helpful, ship fast, answered all my questions.
