These clubs are fantastic and very long (PW 135 yards -> 3 iron 215). It took me a few games of flying greens to believe the added distance. They are also very forgiving on mishits. I had demoed all the other major brands and for me there was no comparison. I swing very hard and the stiff shafts are perfect. Now that I own these clubs I actually like the way that they look (initially, they take some getting used to). I have recommended these clubs to many of my golfing friends and many have already purchased a set. I highly recommend these clubs to all levels of players (scratch to duffers). Customer Service Have had no problems with the clubs thus no experience with Customer Service Similar Products Used: Ping, Taylor Made, Mizuno, Hogan, Callaway |

After 30 years of golf I finally have taken a set of lessons and am improving my game dramatically. I used a set of Ping knocks for most of my "career" and after considerable talk with my PRO decided on the Wilsons. I am VERY pleased. Who can tell with so much about my game changing but, I have increased my length over the old clubs perhaps two clublengths and I'm now hitting the greens in regulation 5 or 6 times a round. I used to cheat to score 100, now I'm there legit! Customer Service None Similar Products Used: Tommy Armour, Ping, Titleist OS |

After a year of blades, I went out shopping. I was heavily influenced by the comparison ad's (FS vs. Ping i-3, etc) in recent golf magazines. I also saw several pro's using FatShafts at the Singapore Masters back in Feb. Recently on the course the group ahead of me had a set, we caught up to them on the last hole; I dropped a ball and hit a 7-I and was sold. Customer Service Royal in Singapore handles Wilson. Great service. I needed stiff steel and they ordered it from Malaysia, to my door. Similar Products Used: Ping ISI-K (6 yr), Cleveland TA1 (1 Yr) |

when new posted comments here and would like to update now. long irons still great 2 use but had problems with short irons. now i have gotten used 2 them i must say i am getting happier with the wedge, 9 & 8 irons and have finally put away my 54 degree cleveland stick. as before, the sand wedge is perfection exemplified. if in doubt i aim for the sand as a recovery is safer from there than off an embankment or the rough! Customer Service was disasterous last time round. Similar Products Used: old ryder blades. terrible slazengers. |

I'm skeptical when it comes to manufacturers claims, but the Physics of Wilsons claims for accuracy make sense. I finally relented and bought a set and now after several rounds under my belt, am not disappointed. No club will correct a bad swing, but these clubs are definitely more accurate when your swing is sound but may not be exactly on the sweet spot. Conversely, I disagree with those who say you cannot work the ball with these clubs. I had no problem at all working the ball either way. Most often though, they are straight and long and right on target. I regripped them with oversize golf pride tour wraps. This seems to put the shaft and large club head in better balance. Something you may want to try. Similar Products Used: Wilson ultra 45's |

I am quite comfortable using my current Mizuno. I tried Callaway X14 before but it doesn't impressed me as much. However I was so impressed with the solid feel, easy of hitting and longer straight distance from the demo Wilson Fat Shaft that I bought one with special custom fitting. Need to sell away my current Mizuno iron set though...any takers? Customer Service Excellent customer service provided so far. Similar Products Used: Callaway X14, Mizuno |

Fat Shaft Graphite Reg Flex
INCREDIBLE irons!! Been contemplating them for almost a year. Demoed and demoed, steel vs. graphite, different brands. Steel shafts were just good, had some vibration that was really distracting. I COULD have grown to like them IF I had to. Decided on graphite reg flex, seeing they were $129 less than the hand buzzing steelies! What a dream!! The only irons to fit MY swing! Great feel, no vibration to distract my follow through. Simply line up, look, swing, hit and away it goes!! Went from shooting steady 115s with "those Kunnans" to 96, 96 and 95 with these amazing demo sticks!! Played today for the first time with MY clubs, shot 95! Biggest help was the 9 and PW! IM tickled!! And for the skeptics, the putter and driver were consistent for the comparison. AND was hitting with a 20 mph wind!! I could hit a shot, know it was REALLY good. If it is on the toe, I could still rely on a decent hit, but can still keep an eye on it. Heel shots are harsh. You KNOW when you heel one!! (Like a foul ball on the knuckles of a baseball bat!) NOTE: Watch the Lampkin grips. I have seen several sets in different pro shops DRY ROTTING!! HOPE this isnt a trend for those grips on MY clubs!!! reasonably straight. very good length 3-6 but poor lower down range. hope to improve with these clubs as they give me confidence and are ten times more consistent than previous [slazenger] clubs. seldom hit thin shots now and sensible speed hits them straight and high. sw neat- great within 40 feet of pin and brilliant in sand; i actually take aim at the pin now rather than pray to simply get out of the sand. wedge however is let down and i'm finding problems [length] with all the shorter clubs but will persevere. i'll try pw a bit longer but may go back to cleveland wedge. all in all good clubs but certainly worried whether shafts will mark up as the heads have already started to after just six games. worth a try and they look fine. improvers clubs certainly but at what price. Customer Service crap. bought after demo day at my club. measured up by wilson staff and said would buy thru' my club pro to this order [grips and adjustment to club lie], thanks. they [wilson] said delivery at one week. no, no, no. had to buy off shelf in pro shop and still waiting for special order grips and inducement of several dozen balls. if it's down to manufacturers customer service, look elsewhere. at this price should expect more, better. they say callaway are good.
