Strength:
This is one of the best feeling irons I've ever hit. The 8620 carbon steel is incredibly soft and nice feeling. Although I don't believe it has an incredibly high Maltby MPF rating, let's be honest it is not exactly the end-all-be-all of rating systems and I can tell you that they are very easy to hit. Nice launch, strong ball flight. Kudos of course to WS for choosing the KBS Tour as the stock shaft because these help that strong launch characteristic and they feel dead sexy. I believe that they are stock built approximately 0.25" longer than one would typically encounter, but you may want to check my facts. One of the best sets I've ever demo'd, and I tried a bunch. Weakness:
Weaknesses? Well, I prefer component clubs as a matter of practice and currently game with those, though I must say that I have always had a soft spot for the Wilson Staff brand. However, for those of you that DESPERATELY NEED ALL THE LASER-LIGHT-SHOW ADVERTISING AND THE EXTRA PRICE TAG THAT COMES WITH IT BY ALL MEANS MAKE FUN OF THE CURRENT "OFF" BRANDS LIKE WILSON STAFF.
