I bought these sticks 3 years ago as my second set of clubs after 20 years of using really poor clubs and getting out maybe 3 times a year. I think these clubs really got me hooked on the game. I now play 40+ rounds per year and knocked off 20-25 strokes. If you strike the ball well it sits down to the putting surface very nice, probably due to the higher ball flight the inserts give you. The short irons are very solid with good trajectory and feel. The 3 and 4 iron are not so forgiving and do not seem to set up well at address (maybe it's me). Now if I could just roll the ball better!!!! Overall I recommend these clubs but shop around as I believe they can be overpriced. Customer Service My 9 iron had a loose tungsten insert so I went to the website and got a ref # paid shipping 1 way and they replaced the head under the lifetime warranty. Excellent!!!! Played all last year with irons very pleased with them. I like the looks plus they are easily air born now. I did not like the factory grip so had them regripped. My yardage has been consistant with nice ball flight. But like all clubs practice seems to make the difference. None i have been considering these irons for sometime but i was going to wait until spring. i recently found a slightly used set with steel shafts at second swing. i traded in my cleveland ta5 graphite iron. the clevelands were nice but the tour edge with the steel shaft were excellent. i get about the same distance but now im right at the pin instead of on the side of the green. Customer Service very nice took time to answer all my questions. Similar Products Used: cleveland ta5 taylormade firesoles |

Went to try the Hogan Apex Plus and Edge, along with the Adam's Tight Lies. I was shown the Tour Edge and after hitting some balls with each brand I liked the feel and response I was getting from these. Very attractive clubs besides. I had custom to my specs. Only have been able to hit at the driving range so far but I am getting better distance and accuracy then my old clubs. Cann't wait to get better aquainted with them. I'll update review later. Great club for the value. Similar Products Used: Hogan Apex Plus, Hogan Apex Edge, Adam's Tight Lies GT. |
