Best buy! Very accurate. Very long and the strikes are higher with this club compared to my earlier X14.

I purchased these irons before this season and I have been very impressed with their performance. They are attractively designed and feel great. The ball flys well and they are very forgiving. I feel they are an excellent choice for someone like myself who has just negun to play and wants to work on game improvment. Top Flite also threw in a free sand wedge as oart of the deal.

These are excellent game improvement sticks. I bought the steel shafts, which were a change for me from my old Armour 845 Silver Scots with reg. flex graphite. Best move I EVER made in my 2 years playing this game! The shaft in this club is a True Temper Dynalite Gold made for this TopFlite club. Marries well with the low center of gravity clubhead. I gained a club to a club and a half in distance, went from hitting an avg. of 5 to an avg. of 9 greens in reg.. Very straight ballflight, no ballooning. Generous offset, so you gotta watch to make sure that your ball position doesn't creep too far one way or the other. Diamond sole really helps on those slightly heavy hits. Nipping the ball off a tight lie is extremely easy. Big club face and head, but at address looks fairly traditional for this genre of club.

Negatives? Not many. Can be worked left or right, but it's not a strength of this club.

IMO, one of the best clubs that gets very little notice out there.

$469 gets you the steel shafted model, and NINE irons (3-PW, plus your choice of 1I, 2I, SW, or Gap Wedge). With the strong lofts, I did and would recommend the Gap Wedge. It'll be your 100 yard go-to club (if your 7 iron distance is 150-155, like mine).

Unlike some of the reviews I've read on the Internet I find these irons very attractive. The set up very well and exude confidence. It did take me four rounds to finally get in the groove with them but when they did finally grove with my swing I was very satisified. The ball had a long pretty boring flight with just the easiest of swings. And at one point in the round I was able to bend a seven iron around a tree to land on the green. I haven't hit too many brands of irons and I can confidently say that after hitting my XL 2000s I don't have to hit any other brand.

I have to admit these irons are rock solid. I just switched from King Cobra with graphite stiff shafts. After breaking 5 shafts in the last 2 years, and they quit producing replacements. I hit the 2000 XL about the same distance, maybe a few yards longer. I have the reg. steel shafts in the XL 2000. I am very impressed with these irons. The ball flys very straight and everything that hits the green backs up! Much more spin than the Cobras. The weight feels perfect, and forgiveness is very good. Off center hits are straight, but do lose some distance. I am very very happy I made the switch to these irons, and for the money, nothing else I know of even comes close.

Outstanding with stiff steel shafts. Long and very accurate. Never had a ball bite on a green as well as these irons. For the price, run out and get a set.

Simply put, these sticks are nothing short of amazing! My first time on the course with these sticks, I dropped 5 strokes off of my usual 20. The diamond cut soles really do help against fat shanks. The distance is very impressive as well. Like butter!

These Irons have also saved my marriage and I've heard that they prevent Male Pattern Baldness!!! Get them at all costs!!!

all in all, an exceptional iron for anybody looking to consistently hit fairways and greens. The predominate ball flight is straight with a medium- high trajectory. This, of course, is a good thing. The club is very forgiving.
you can hit knockdowns with these clubs, but I have had no luck with fades or draws Most likely, however, this is the indian and not the arrow. The clubhead is large, but it sets up very nicely at address. distance is above-average, but I can't vouch for any length gains, these clubs have stronger lofts than my previous set.
Also, very impressed with the diamond cut sole. This, combined with the sole's thickness and less rounded leading edge (on other clubs I tried) makes the club very effective from all lies.
On the less impressive side, the clubs do not help create alot of spin, so some shots come in a little hot.
From a value standpoint, these clubs offer alot. they are reasonably priced (I paid 650 for the standard set plus a sand wedge and lob wedge), excellently made and have above-average stock grips. Also, at least where I purchased my set, Top-Flite had provided a fitting set of 5-irons with a variety of shaft length, shaft flex and lie options. Very helpful in "geting" fitted.
Overall, a great set for anybody not looking to knock down pins on every hole (who has the ability to do so).

I have just had these clubs for a couple of weeks now and all I need to say is "INCREDIBLE". Up until now I have played with a set of clubs that were about 8 years old. I never really bought into all the hype. I can''t believe how much straighter I am shooting with these irons.I can see myself shooting in the 80s in the next couple of weeks once I learn the distances I can hit with them! They travel longer. This is a great set of clubs for anyone and at great price.
